The seagulls were wrong aeroxbud and FrankenMech. It's a 2018 Peugeot Tweet 125cc for £50 and not a Kisbee 50cc. Good nick all round except one side panel replacement on the right and rear brake lever. Engine tried to turn over slightly so might be a snaped drive belt jamming the crankshaft as noticed oil in the sump and not new stuff which people tend to put in if run out. We will see in the week at some point what it is.

Excellent find for a 125 even if it was £50 above the 'right' price LOL Sorry, my brother in law and I are incorrigible scroungers always looking for the 'right' price. Moths fly out of our wallets when we open them. We both have sheds full of projects. Unfortunately as we have aged fewer completed projects exit the shed... We will only cut one corner off your 'scrounger' man-card for the price. You can earn it back if you make £200 profit on the scoot What size wheels does that scoot have?

So after checking the belt that's fine. Checked oil and there is none so just a case of cross reference of what the engine comes from and price up parts or second hand engine which will be the easiest route. Maybe the GY6 generic one's have a model with same engine mount and 16" wheels.

Where do the mounts attach to the motor? Top or underneath?

No oil, none? Was it leaked out, drained, or just burned up?
That spark plug looks clean, maybe the piston/rings/cylinder is OK.
Have you looked at the flywheel/stator end?
Some strange things have happened to equipment, did some kid drop pebbles or sticks in the crankcase?

Geoff Thanks for that Geoff, I just looked on Racing Planet for parts and they show loads of various models of the 125 twist over the years so god knows how many engine variations they have. I may put this to the back of the shed till more conversant with them. plus the Sym Symphony is meant to be the same with many iterations as well.

Well took some measurements between the head studs across etc and none measured the same as any I have come across on various websites. Start again later.

That's some serious damage to the piston.

Kind of what happens to pistons etc when there is no oil. New engine time or just scrap the Caddy Clyde as Clint Eastwood would say.
