ring side up on the gasket.... not that it matters tbh. & the wavy ring is supposed to go under the bottom ring to force it out but the best place for it is in the bin imo lol

yeah that wavy ring is just more crap that can break off and end up trashing the engine

what year is that it looks like they are working towards not being able to mod them i would cut a slot in it and take it out with a screw driver if you re replaceing the intake you might be able to cut it off at the top of the intake and use a bolt/stud extracter

They are trying all kinds of weird stuff these days, sheez! Maybe a set of needle nose vice grips will get it as well?

Got my kit installed and scooter running great at idle. It was raining last night so i never got the chance to make any runs with it. Getting the exhaust on was such a pain in the ass, it to more time putting my exhaust on then putting bbk on. But i am done. Could not have done it with out all the help of 49cc and the how to's and all of the great answer to Questions. Thanks everyone for all the help and knowledge shared with me

Let us know if you need anything while tuning the rest of the carb or trans.

Sounds allot different with an aluminum cylinder huh? I like the "ting, duh, ding, ding." Curious to know how well it does as i have that same kit ive yet to try.

yes it sounds great, i am having trouble with the adjustments of the carb. it runs fine at full throttle for a couple of seconds then it does like a little jerking, like its not getting enough fuel and wont go any faster. My jets i ordered are a little shorter then stock maybe like 2mm or a little more i think it runs fine until gas in the float bowl gets to low and it not getting enough gas so starts to sputter. Besides that runs great on the stand i can hit throtle and revs up and down perfectly sounds great and the power is just crazy,
