yeh a lot of people dont realise that when you fit a bigger jet you use more fuel lol.... you may have to up the float height a little.... but then this can make the mixture richer so you may have to drop a size mj! its a very fine balance!

Idle sounds high, but otherwise it sounds good on the stand. The important part is what it does off the stand.

yeah after it warms up the idle settles down. it runs great and the plugs look good. One thing i am having trouble with is starting it has to be the new automatic choke will not stat outside after about a hour in the cold im in va so it not super cold about 20-35 degrees the stock carb would start right up after being outside all night

I had that trouble with one of mine long ago. Never did get it straightened out perfect, but I used iridium plugs and that seemed to help a little. Manual enricher/choke is the best if you demand reliable starting in about any conditions. You could try swapping enrichers if they both fit. Could be the circuit inside the carb is just diff though.

Since you know it has spark, check for fuel (not in the tank, but being delivered to the carb and through the carb), and make sure it's got compression.

I dont think its getting fuel. I took the line off the carb and turn the motor over and a little gas came out then went to none. So what would i have to change. I took out the spark plug several different times to see if there was fuel on it and i have good compression, just stuck my finger on spark plug hole, it would almost blow it off

If it's a vacuum petcock or pump, it's only gonna deliver fuel while the engine is turning over. It needs vacuum to open and allow fuel to pass. So, if the fuel stopped when you stopped cranking, that's normal.

no it aint putting nothing out when its cranking over. I think it leaks slowly, because when i was installing bbk and carb i had to clamp line to stop gas from flowing when i was draining carb just keep going. My bowl has gas in it i think becase of that slow leak, but when motor is cranking it will not flow any gas took line off carb and had someone crank to see if i could get gas, few drops at first then nothing. After installing new carb scooter ran great but i could not get scooter to start after setting for a hour even inside. Always had to spray startor fluid in carb to start scooter do think automatic choke could cause any of this and still have strong spark with no gas on spark plug ever, open air filter with protective cover 21mm carb Spanish. Trying to make sure i am giving good enough info
