I am having a problem with my Yamaha Jog R
When I start the scooter i drives very well the first 300 meter until the echokes turns off.
then it slowes down until it stopes, and idles. after 5 sec I can give it some throttle and i goes again.
then after 2-3 minutes on throttle it does the same thing again. getting slower, and slower untill it stands still and idles.

if i hit the sweet spot on a longer drive. it can continue to drive without problems. but if I give i full throttle it slowes down till stand still and idles.

Carb has been cleaned many times, and there is a new fuel filter on it.

if i suck on the vacumhose, alot of fuel comes out of the fuelhose.

the fuelcap vent is clean

Is this scooter new to you ?
Is this a new problem?
What else have you done recently to the scoot ?

First law of scooter tuning is to make one change at a time so you can retrace your steps .

Are you using a stock Airbox?
It works best open filters are very hard to tune .
What main jet is in right now ,Do you have others ?

On the Air mixture screw how many turns out are you
With stock set up 1 1/2 -2 turns out is the starting point

Can you post a video of the problem ?

it is somewhat new to me. have driven it too and from work for the last 3 weeks.
it has standart parts on. except the exhaust ist is a polini with the govern in it, because it has too in mt country.
it has stock airbox with a new filter in it.
if i recall the main jet is 62 original for the gurtner carb
it should be 1 1/2 - 2 turns out on the mixture screw

when i got the scooter the needle was in the highest position, i put it back to the mitle one, and the sparkplug looks like it has good mixture

it helped remowing the restriction in the exhaust. but now it is not roadlegal anymore in my country
