the yam weighs about the same as my st2 ducati [sport touring], gets the same mpg and only has 1/2 the hp. sounds on the boring side and i am 67. if i want boring i have a car, but that's just my opinion. i have a vento 2t i use as a grocery getter, very easy to roll around. then i am just finishing up my winter project a 1974 bultaco alpina 250 set up for street use, that weighs about the same as the vento. I want the TMax for its ease of use and touring capabilities. I don't really need 80 HP. It goes 100mph and that's plenty fast enough for me. If I could go faster I would try to test my limits and eventually end up hurting or killing myself. I have never owned a motorcycle but I used to have a 1996 Banshee 300cc quad. That F ing thing was so much fun. Wish I still had it. So I don't have a problem with the clutch and shifting. I just prefer the twist and go of a scoot. Plus scooters have storage room. I want the TMax for long distance trips. I have my 70cc for getting around town. Why does everyone hate scooterists. I thought this was a scooter forum. I love ALL things with two wheels and a motor. It doesn't matter how fast or slow, big or small, I love em all. The TMax just fits my needs/wants. Thats why I want it. Plus its costs less than a motorcycle. I can't afford 10k for a Ducati but I can afford 5k for a scoot with the agility of a sport bike, the comfort of a touring bike and the ease of the CVT.

I dunno about the code from youtube directly, but if it was it would not be img tags but youtube tags. I just highlight the address of the vid in the address bar, copy, use the youtube button on the reply page, then paste the vid link in the middle. Alright! Duh??? Why couldn't I think of that? No way I could go through share and get there. Thanks, man.

i got the st2 used with 4k on the clock for $4k several years ago. my view on scooters is once they get over 150cc the weight balloons and they become burdensome for the level of performance. just my .02 on the subject. it's your $. spend them on what you like.
