I actually like it. It amuses me. No complaint. I was just curious. H2Oi 2018 vid was the 103cc with a 21mm Dell and Peace Pipe. Blowing smoke then too. Some older vids with the PG, it looks like I'm trailing smoke, but not quite as bad. Could very well be that I tune everything too rich at lower throttle. The 103 was iron so I wasn't afraid to do test passes and find out what too lean was when tuning the main jet. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCRnkCODVN4

I had a problem at the show yesterday. When I'd get off of the scoot, the throttle would hang after. I'd have to fiddle with it for a minute to get it back to normal. Here's how my carb was setup. When it was hanging, the cable was out of place. I had some adapters around. I found one that worked as needed, but it was way too long for me to have enough cable reach to operate the carb. I ended up cutting it down till it was about 1/2 the original length. With the adjusters all the way in, I have just enough cable to work the carb. There's pretty much no slack though. I may be able to turn the cable into the throttle housing another thread or so to get just a touch more. Didn't want to mess with it while I was trying to get ready to go to the show again today.

Here's my new favorite YouTube comment on the 86cc build :
"Sorry but you litterly dont know 1% what your doing. Get a Yasuni c20/Yasuni c21. This is a super slow ped right now for the tpr 86cc you fitted. If you put the correct parts with it, with proper rollers, main jet etc your not gonna recognize your ped. Your also gonna ruin your whole engine because that cilinder isnt calculated for that exhaust so its gonna run hot alot. Really stupid."
I just replied with, "I can only dream of knowing as much as you, sir." Unfortunately I only get 1 out of 100 parts of any build right. There is a bright side though. That guy can't even spell worth a damn and thinks my scooter is a moped and he's figured out all of the problems that I'm not even having, so maybe there's still hope for me.
Like I told the guys at the show, YouTube is gonna LOVE it when my hyper race is even with a dude with e-start and a stock flywheel on an air cooled MKII with a small carb and a centerstand friendly Yasuni. Most of this doesn't actually bother me. It's more that I wish I could make people understand that I was intending to try something different (not allowed?) and that money is not unlimited for me. At that rate, I don't even understand why anyone would bother with an engine like this. Just buy the the Malossi package or something more exotic like Team Cristofolini and quit screwing around, right? Actually, one YouTube comment told me that. Just buy the Malossi cases instead of porting the stock stuff. He said it just doesn't make sense to work with the stock cases with stuff like that out there. Again, I'm the only person with any sort of budget.

After riding next to and behind T2 for a few hours my comment to Brent was “I’m going to have lung cancer by the end of the night”. Why are you moaning? Your gear got a free fumigating!

maybe one of these "wiser" people who know so much and do so much could send some of these parts to you or maybe $1,000 for a " really great build". I've watched the vids you've made thru the years and even tho I'm a novice/newbie about scoots I have nothing but admiration for your skill, knowledge, perseverance, ability not only with scooters etc. , but with your vid making and editing and your willingness to share your time doing all the testing you do with the scoots and the whole nine yards. I think many of these people don't get what you're trying to do cause they maybe didn't take the time to find out .Maybe they just didn't pay attn. Many of these people can go sit on a pipe .

Mostly children hiding behind the veil of the internet making these comments, trying to get a rise off you. They would change their tone if speaking directly to your face! Little b******

I gave T2 a bath this morning to get the salt and sand off of it. Not even sure when I would have washed this thing last. I took the opportunity to liberally spray all of the electrical bits and connections with the hose (airbox inlet and exhaust outlets were covered/plugged). I figured that would be a little test to see if it is safe for use in water since I haven't rode in heavy rain that I recall since I built the harness with expensive sealed connectors. Actually started after. That's a win in my book. Also discovered that my bent and riveted storage box behind the seat holds water quite well. If I wanted the thing to seal it would have leaked like a sieve. Drilled a drain hole in there. Now if I ever have an oil bottle leak, it will drip on my rear tire.

I took the Peace Pipe off today and went over it with a wire wheel to deal with the rusty areas from 2 days of salt water and salt spray at the beach. Then I wiped over it with acetone and gave it 2 coats of high temp black. Also wire brushed a couple of fasteners and sprayed them with S100 corrosion protectant. Not sure if it does much, but it smells nice. Vid from the show is up now also : www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ts14Kupd7tY

That looks better. Did you find a hole to let out the build up of excess oil, on the pipe?

It’s amazing what that salt water will do. The next day my rotors were rusted to my pads, I’ve got clear flaking off the pipe also. I hope I got it all cleaned up it’s some nasty stuff.

That looks better. Did you find a hole to let out the build up of excess oil, on the pipe? I knew it had a hole. I did check though. I can stick a tiny screwdriver in there and it stops within about 1/8", hitting metal. Not sure if that's on purpose, so maybe it's not creating such an exhaust leak to create a drain or if that is how it should be. It's never got anything around it like anything comes out. If it ain't gonna hurt anything, I'm happy with the smoke show. Not sure that the guys stuck behind me liked it that much though. Most likely I am pretty rich down low. If I don't clear it out by revving it before I takeoff, it will sputter when I start.
