That is amazing. I can't wait to try this bad boy. Thanks again!
Thanks for the link. For that price, I'd still rather get the DellOrto I think. Like I said, gotta pay overseas shipping to get an intake anyway. I'll bite the bullet and order something soon. You're working so hard on that pipe I don't wanna hold things up because of a carb and intake if I can help it.

Looks really good John! Thanks for the update.
I ended up ordering the 25mm DellOrto from SIP. It was the same price at the Mikuni (actually about $1 more) and I had to order the intake there anyway. Shipping was only $18 from Germany.

Looks great. That's the sturdiest looking muffler mount I've ever seen. Thanks for the update, and just thanks!

I'll let John post the specs if he wants. I got the 25mm DellOrto carb and 25mm Polini intake in today. The intake had some really jagged corners so I smoothed it out a little before installing it. I don't remember my other Polini 25mm intake looking like that inside. Installed the carb, intake, reeds, and reed spacer. Not sure why I put the carb on? It'll have to come back off for leak testing anyway. I replaced the stock 102 main in the DellOrto with a 108. Not really sure where I need to be. I know the 99cc likes to be jetted from 98-102 most of the time. The theory is that the bigger displacement will draw in more fuel and actually need smaller jetting than an engine of lesser displacement with the same carb. We'll see.

That just looks insanely awesome. Really compliments the black and silver theme too! This thing is going to be sucking in some major air, especially since that exhaust is so massive! I'm so siked to see a video of this beast in action.
I notice that you have two barbs coming out of your intake... I know what the first one is... But what's the other one for?

One will be plugged and I'll probably stick a boost bottle in the other. They could be for oil injection, vacuum petcocks, boost bottles, or anything else you can operate from manifold vacuum.

I got 2 lightened flywheels, the cylinder head, and aluminum "samples" in the mail from John today as well as the stator and crankshaft woodruff key from PFS. Thanks again John. The work John did on this cylinder head amazes me. It looks like it came out of the box. This is excellent work. I got the stator, flywheel, and fan on then moved on to the spacer. My jigsaw's guide is messed up and I can't make it cooperate so I ended up cutting out a rectangle with a hacksaw and then using a bench grinder to shape the outside. I'm drilling holes and filing trying to shape the inside. Am I having fun yet? lol

It needs a little more work and I have to sand it to the right thickness, but pretty close now. Here it is with the Hebo. You can see how the Hebo slants so it wouldn't match up well with the Polini.

Great work on that spacer!I always end up drilling a million 3/16" holes around the inside then cutting it out with a wood chisel. It builds character and muscle to hack out cylinder spacers!Looks like you are destined to cut out thousands more...We all wait for that tire smoking video soon to come!
