Well that E3 plug is going in the trash tomorrow when it cools off. Went for a ride and overheated 3 times. The third time the engine started sounding like metal scraping together, it lost almost all power, and then it died. I thought for sure I seized it up. The cylinder sounded like steaming vegetables, so I let it cool off for a few mins on the side of the road. Started it back up, and it didnt sound right, so I went to kill the gas, but it still kept running. Turned the key off, still running. Finally it died after a few seconds. I'm gonna throw just the regular plug back in again. I think the E3 and the Iridium are too hot for this kind of weather. Hope I didn't fuck up the cylinder!

That's why you can't just stick any plug in that fits. The spark plug got so hot that it was igniting the fuel and air without actually sparking. E3 or iridium plugs should be just fine in the proper heat range. Hope all is well with your engine.

What are the symptoms of low compression? It seems to run fine on the center stand, but as soon as you put any weight on the rear wheel and try to hit the gas, it sputters and bogs, and then takes off, and bogs etc, it's just all over the place. It's like really erratic. I'm thinking maybe I fried my piston rings.

Usually when your compression is low the engine is mostly just weak. That sounds more like a carb tuning issue to me, but you can always try a compression test or pull it apart and have a look to be sure.

I thought it sounded like it was running lean, so I grabbed my bigger main jet and threw it in, which only made it worse. I tried to tune it after that, and it seems like no matter how many turns out or in I go on the air mixture screw, the engine never speeds up or slows down

Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Even with low compression it should do something with the idle/air setting. I would check for a leak that might have caused a softy

I have heard of a 2Fast 80cc kit, but when I looked it up it said 47.6mm bore x 44mm stroke.

Alrighty, so 2 days ago I tore the engine off my scooter and took it into the basement. Yesterday I tore the cylinder apart, just as my new gasket set came in the mail. I noticed before I tore the cylinder off that there was evidence of leaking at the base gasket. The reed cage gasket had evidence of leaking as well. Today was my day to do everything.
I dremeled out my case and did some gasket matching. Turned out really well. while I was at it, I dremeled out the intake area so that I can fit my carbon fiber reeds. I cleaned everything up really nicely, and sprayed some copper spray sealant on my base gasket before throwing it back together. That's all I got done today. Hopefully I can have her all back and running by tomorrow evening.
Just wondering, am I correct in thinking that the head bolts should be at 13 ft-lbs?
EDIT: I went with 15 ft-lbs like the tech section suggested.
After switching out the spark plug, and downjetting a little bit, It's running! Can't wait to see what it's like once it's in tune. I'm gonna wait til this afternoon before I attempt to tune it though.

So now that I waited a day, it's running even crappier than before I tore it apart. It runs fine on the stand, or just idling, but when I put any type of weight and try to accelerate, it bogs to nothing and dies.
