the best springs ive used so far that are hands down better than malossi, polini ncy hoca etc are the maximum RPM springs.

a white one came with the malossi multivar and i got a blue one off ebay...i think the blue one was a +1000rpm spring....the white one is softer.....both the new springs are a good bit longer then stock....im not really sure what you gain from changing that spring...

Engaugement time or the rear pully and torque driver the stiffer the spring the later it engauges that is if u make enough power but with you set up I'd say go hard or go home and all the aftermarket contra springs are about twice the length of stock try a yellow=1500 or red=2000 or a stage 6 2000 is black and called hard

the max rpm springs are harder than the the s6 hard springs i have ran them all i know lol. they are heat treated and come in stainless steel heat treated which i paid extra for.
the torque spring determines how much load is put on the belt, counter reacting with the weights. for ex; if you ran 6g weights and put in a 1500 it would load the belt and make it feel like you have 4-5g weights.
bigger the displacement the heavier weights they usually work with and easier to run the bigger springs. i wouldnt lead you astray, im just trying to say you want the best spring that WILL last longer than 20-30 take offs pulling hard- go with maxrpm 1500

Haven't tried the max rpm springs not doubting you just saying s6 have work the best for me but I need to get a set of the max rpms to try one of the few I havent tried yet and the s6 ones I got came as a gift for making such a large order they threw me springs to try out I like the medium contra with a 70cc kit and hard clutch springs I also am going to try the clutch shoe drilling trick but I'm going to be drilling the marked holes and also a couple extra smaller holes to tryin swiss cheese the thing enough to keep structural integrity but make a huge power launch
