well i think its time to pull the oil pump out and switch to premix....i took the scoot to the gas station about 1 mile away and when i got home there was smoke rolling off the scoot and oil dripping off the scoot.... :panic: ....i think i blew an oil line....i dont think i did any damage to the motor...it was not smoking or dripping oil when i got to the gas station...the smoke is from the oil dripping on the exhaust pipe...what are you guy running for premix?

That may be as simple as replacing a hose and bleeding it if you wanted to stay injected.
Most use 32:1 to 50:1 premix. Stay with 32-40:1 with most oils. There are some synthetics that are meant for leaner mix ratios, that's the only way I go 50:1. Make sure whatever you get is suitable for premix. Most oils will say injection and/or premix on the bottle.

i got the oil lines replaced and figured out how to get the oil pump primed...its up and running again... :nana: a pic of the feed line that busted...the line was very hard and would snap if i tried to bend it... i figured while i had the flywheel off for the oil line replacement i would shave some weight off the flywheel....i took it into work and shaved it down in the lathe.......i have not got a chance to see if there is and noticeable difference with the lightened flywheel...i will keep you posted when i get a chance to ride it...

i was not sure what was safe to shave off....i have never shaved one down before...i played it safe with .060 off the sides and .050 off the face...i dident want to cut into the area where the fan sits...

Will still notice a difference, i would of thought. Better to be on the safe side. You can always do more later.

Stock should work, but may require some modifications. Depends what adapter you use.

this is the boss from my scoot on the left and the one from the polini kit on the right.. this is the face plate that measures 13mm... heres the star washer from the polini kit that also measures 13mm heres a pic of the ramp plate against the starter clutch and the boss from the kit on the crank shaft..as you can see the boss covers the whole splined part of the shaft leaving no room to put the face plate on... posting the pics for racing planet so they can see what im talking about....
