It seems you can lower the ex port a little to get more ex area. Oh and about those port durations being off..i've heard that before. Especially with iron cylinders. With this one the ports don't look bad, but the durations are off. You might wanna (or let an engine builder do it) get the durations the same.
I've seen some horrible shaped ports where airpockets sat on the edges and just all traces of quick and cheap fabrication.

I just slapped it on as is. I don't even know what the durations ended up being, likely around 134 and 195. It seems willing to rev, but I have been taking it easy so far, the weather is krappy anyway.

Is that the Team MHR pipe #M3212799. .003 Is what I shoot for on that kit.
That pipe was a little too much for me & my MHR kit. I went with the C-16. It was, a loud SOB too. If it is how the hell you gonna break it in on that pipe? On the MHR it did not make power till 9500. I had eveybody with a set of Ears complaining with that pipe!

I am not sure which pipe I have MHR team Replica? I will have to check, but yeah it is loud as yell!
As far as the break in period, you know my current method! ::rolleyes:: Maybe it will work this time? Lol

- Warm up Scooter up to 100-110F before every drive. - Keep rpms around or lower then 6000 for the next 300 miles. - Try to avoid hills. Do all this and you should be fine. Now tell me who would do such procedure? Besides me of course.

I make a few easy, short passes trying to make sure the carb tune is good enough, and there is no crazy heating, or strange noises. If all seems ok I let it rip WOT for a few short passes, check the temps and repeat.

Me too. Not a lot of people agree with this method, but I'll keep using it until a motor blows up on me.
