Is that the Team MHR pipe #M3212799. .003 Is what I shoot for on that kit. That pipe was a little too much for me & my MHR kit. I went with the C-16. It was, a loud SOB too. If it is how the hell you gonna break it in on that pipe? On the MHR it did not make power till 9500. I had eveybody with a set of Ears complaining with that pipe! Ok, I checked and I have the M327562. It fits the street race, kinda. It just sticks out at a weird angle a bit. It came new from feebay seller , supposedly for the Zuma?

I took the MHR pipe off and put the old fat tecnigas RS pipe back on. It ran well with the RS pipe before. That MHR is just too much, I would like to have an MHR cylinder to go with the pipe, but they are pretty expensive.
I also switched from a 21mm carb to a 19mm carb. I setup the carb with a 42 PJ and a 96 MJ. I could not take it for a ride tonight but I started it up in the shop to check what I could. I do not have a center stand so all I could do is flip the throttle a few times. I ended up turning the fuel screw all the way out and it was still lean at idle. So next up is to put a larger PJ in and try to get this thing to idle well.

That MHR pipe will work best with the s6 pro and racing. Looking at the shape it will need something like 190/195 ex port, 130 transf timing.
Dunno what that streetrace has?

Do you know where the powerband sits with the MHR pipe? Somewhere around 11k i think?

My MHR starts at 9800-10000, then hit's hard at 11k,all thing in tune, It revs to 12k-12.5 My only complaint is it is noisy as hell. Tried a few different silencers, made little difference.
My son is a CR-250 rider he loves it, I can hear him coming 2-3 blocks away. Ting,ka,Ting,Ting. BAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAA....
You can hear him coming from, 2-3 blocks away.

190, is there a connection between noise & performance. Every high output pipe I have tried is loud as hell in comparison, to say a C-16. Which gives good power & is still street able in noise level, IMO.

Which gives good power & is still street able in noise level, IMO. The thinner the steel of the pipe the better. A pipe made out of thin steel holds heat better since air is a better isolater than steel. And with thin steel you hear the exhaust pulses hitting the metal harder, hence that typical 'tin can' sound. Oh and silencers kill power, so the more noise the pipe makes the better.

What about Polini pipes? You don't hear much about them. I used to own one long, long time ago and was very satisfied with its performance.

I have used a few Polini pipes. They all performed pretty good. Mater of fact one of my favorite pipes is the Stage 6 Pro, on the sport or mid-race kits works good. And is not overly loud.
I bet you could hear my MHR at your house!

I installed some larger jets and things were much better, especially while the intake hose slipped out of the airbox. I got mad and took the airbox off and put the latest version of my lawnmower filter on. The filter is really loud but if I put the MHR pipe back on I wont be able to hear it over the pipe LOL!
I also saw the rpm's were around 9800 so I lightened up the weights in the variator to 28 grams. So far it seems to rip pretty good. A little more tuning of the carb tomorrow and I will be making some speed checks.

I spent over half of the day trying to get a decent tune using the lawnmower filter with no success. So I broke down and fixed the stock airbox so I could use it instead. The stock air box is so much quieter and easier to tune, I don't know why I ever bother to use anything else.
Currently I am at my normal brick wall of 54-55 MPH. I just don't get it, seems I can make almost anything run 55 or so but that is about it. LoL!
