If I sell it it will probably be one of those deals where it goes on eBay with a high reserve. If it has to go, I gotta get paid. With the economy the way it is, I can't imagine I'd have too much luck though. Kinda crazy looking at someone selling a Piaggio MP3 for $14,000 and I'm afraid I won't get that for my car. I've said it a million times, but damn money adds up with hot rods. Just a couple of examples... my last dyno tune cost me $1320 + working with a friend to pay for a ride one way + $200 for a rollback the other way. I can't afford that over and over so I just spent $1300 for a Megasquirt, another wideband for it, and a laptop so I can tune it myself. There's $2820 just trying to get the thing in tune, and that's really only the beginning of the tuning expenses... if you count the wideband I already have, all the gaskets I've blown, and so on... wow. You can imagine what must be into the actual parts on the car. I just don;t have that kind of money anymore. Actually, I never had that kind of money. I just didn't spend what money I had on anything but the car for years. I hate to tell people what's in the car because it makes it sound like I actually have money and I sure don't... once again why it should be sold.

Not bad. Surprisingly "techy" for 1964.

WHAT? I'm on the fourth page and no one has mentioned the Luc Besson movies: Taxi (plus the sequels) and Transporter (plus the sequels) although I must admit they get thinner with each sequel . You say you're "into car movies". Taxi has great beginning where the camera follows scooter around Marseilles. And in Transporter 2 the driver removes bomb from under the car by jumping the car, rolling it 360 degrees lengthwise, hitting a crane and landing on the wheels. Here is the beginning of Taxi (1): www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0kZKI6hUwE Doesn't it make you want to go out and ride your scooter? (Don't bother with the American version of Taxi, it's crap.) Here is the stupid, but fun, bomb removal from Transporter: www.youtube.com/watch?v=EalGgwgi1iM

I've seen the opening scene from Taxi many times, never seen the whole movie. I've only watched the first Transporter. I liked it, but for some reason I had no desire to watch the others? At that rate, lots of Bond films would fit in here.
I like the stuff involving hot rods and muscle cars more than anything. As you can see, I even watch cheesy old movies if they involve hot rods.

I'd have thought that everyone here would've seen Taxi, just for the Scooter scenes. :thumb: Of course it's kind of difficult for most Americans since it's in French, you're not used to subtitles  (Also the french humor is not for everyone, but I  ).

I'll have to check it out. I figured it was probably just the one scene.

It basically is just the opening scene, but scooters are seen here and there in the movie.
