Took Brents advice and put the tranny back together as is to get the 103 up and running. That'll give me time to sort out tuning bugs and find some gears too.Installed the CVT and ignition system, then installed it on the scoot. Now I have to decide on one of the 5 pipe designs I've been fooling with.

Its kinda easy building them on the computer,but Hell in real life! I've selected #6,heres the specs; 103cc , 184 duration , 9500rpm headpipe .6 degree 28-33.4x257.5 1st diffuser 4.5 degree 33.4-49.1x100 2nd diffuser 7 degree 49.1-73.7x100 3rd diffuser 9 degree 73.7-101.4x87.4 spacer -------101.4x110 1st baffle 5.5 degree 101.4-88x70 2nd baffle 13 degree 88-24x139 stinger ------------24x260 #5 was 117mm dia and that was awful fat for this mildly tuned machine,soo I re-calced it for a smaller midsection,,Hope it works!!

Too funny. Out of 5 designs you picked # 6. A real modifier! There is always something better !!!!

Are you gonna make this one the "standard" style or build it like your quiet pipe?

Thought I'd build it 'STD' style first to make tuning easier, then mod it for a 'quiet' muffler after its sorted out..

I like the look of the stock Ditech pipe. What do you think about the silencer on the bottom? I think that design would look very good applied to your Mark6 pipe....

I like the pipes aimed down like that. Wonder if it would be more difficult for John though since he uses longer stingers? Probably not. That thing looks pretty high at the rear. Or just do the silent deal and put a big chrome pipe way out back with a rain flap on it. If you add a big rig horn too, you will be my hero. lol
