John,s pipes tend to stay "tucked" in tight as possible to the rest of the scooter, i like them that way. His pipes are also built to set up high for the same reason i assume (John, your input would be great here!). Great all around pipe that is 'outta the way' for hard turns etc. The way he builds em high i figured maybe there would be enough room for that design?

Yep Robert,I cut them close and high so they dont scrape at the wrong time, roadracer guys get real mad when that happens! :spin: Here are some POC(proof of concept) photos of the 'top' can; And here is a POC of the 'bottom' can; Both have plenty of clearence, the can is longer and larger diameter for the added cc's and also for a bit of interior muffler tricks too!

Have to step back and see to really tell but i think the top can looks better in this app. What do you think John?

Yeah, it's weird but I'm used to seeing your pipes the other way so it looks like it's on wrong down bottom.

It doesn't look to bad with the can on the bottom. Every muffler company has the can on top.

I'm torn. On one hand I'm so used to seeing it on top that it looks better that way. On the other hand, the uniqueness of the bottom can is pretty appealing. How about a straight stinger Have to step back and see to really tell but i think the top can looks better in this app. I agree. Would be nice to see the whole scoot with both concepts.

Thanks guys!Head pipe is .6 degree, the C-16 is 1 degree.I was looking for plenty of torque and it looks like I got it!Its rich so it wont top out yet, think I'll leave it that way for a few rides.top end shouldnt be any better that the 70 as the gearing is so 'short',maybe worse cause I'm sure the 70 had a higher RPM limit. It acts like a different machine ;D

This one, too. but there aren't many I like the look of the stock Ditech pipe. What do you think about the silencer on the bottom? I think that design would look very good applied to your Mark6 pipe.... Can't wait to see some video of this scoot. How long will we have to wait?

Did you miss this? Clicky, clicky :riding: John when you gonna race that bad-boy :checkered: :burnout: ! There isnt anything close to race tho huh ! Well i guess we could trade for the rest of the season and i can struggle to keep that bad motor scooter on the ground . Im stoked! Hows it do on the road? Wanna rev too high with the gearing? Man, i bet that sucker flys to 50 real quick!!! Wish ya had a way to clock it :stumped:

I think your really starting to get these pipe dialed in now! Looks like it might be time for some of the "play" to be taken out of the motor mount? Helped mine.....Just an idea you could whip up in an hour.
