Thinking if you present to Uncle Sam that you're studying 2 stroke performance and trying to make a 100mph 49cc so you can therefore produce a 30mph 22cc 2t engine that is far below EPA requirements of the U.S., throw a bunch of buzzwords into your proposal like "green" and "environment" and "oil dependency" and "emissions reduction by studying optimized design of efficiency through enhanced performance and reduction of carbon footprint."..... BAM! Gazillion Dollar 2 stroke performance lab! lol The future of American 2 strokes is in your hands 190mech! (insert motivational American music and flag waving and bald eagles here)

I got the tail/brake panel smoothed out and decided that since my shoulder was already sore from the hacksaw and sanding and filing it would make sense to go for the most labor intensive finish. When I was doing the final polish I slipped and the panel hit the metal part of the buffer. Had to sand part of it again in multiple grits and re-polish. Got it almost done, slipped again, did it again. Wired so it plugs into the stock harness with just 1 plug. When I got it all finished, I saw that the left turn signal is not illuminating a row of LEDs. Still plenty bright, but a bad time to notice after it's all done. I'll prob leave it for now. In case it's of any use to anyone, here are some wire colors and functions. TaoTao ATM50-A1's Stock WiringGreen = Ground Green/Yellow = Brake + Brown = Running/Tail + Orange = Right Turn Signal + Light Blue = Left Turn Signal + Oval LED Tail/Brake LightWhite = Ground Black = Dim (Tail) + Red = Bright (Brake) + LED Turn SignalsBlue = Ground Red = Power + Now I need to rejet the carb for cold weather. It's running a little lean at times.

(insert motivational American music and flag waving and bald eagles here) Strange you mention this Niz!Worlds top 2T tuner Jan Thiel stated last year about how a 25cc 2T scooter built with modern technology would pollute less,get better fuel economy,have more HP,AND be cheaper to build..If you think that a modern 125cc MX 2T engine makes 40+HP in stock tune,then a 25cc should make 8HP...Something to think about.... I just did some checking on PortMaps;A 25.7cc (32X32)64mm rod at 192.8 Ex duration,Trans 131 duration,21.8mm carb,16465 rpm gets 7.5 HP at a safe piston speed!Wonder if a CVT could handle these RPM's??Wonder what the TD would be turning at those crank RPM's??More research needed!

Sorry but did you say 40+hp on 125? Holly squirrel trails! My 72cc 4t has maybe 4hp. I've got some reading to do.

Sorry to get off topic lol, but I contacted the seller of the turn signals and asked if they'd be willing to either give a refund for 1/2 the price of the turn signals since 1 didn't work or if they'd sell me another set for 1/2 price. They responded that they'd issue a full refund if that's alright with me.
