Dead battery is my guess. Very typical. They don't like sitting around not being used. When you said your electrical is working other than electric start, do you mean that the lights and dash are working?
Again, if that's the case, sounds like a dead battery. Also, if it hasn't charged up after riding for a few hours, then it's definitely toasted. I found a cheap alternative battery that works well for my setup on eBay for $12 or so shipped. It probably won't start a 150 or anything like that, but it starts my little 70cc right up.

I just got the battery less than 2 months ago from a batteries plus store. I elieve I may still have a warranty on it so I may go in and have them check it.
I also have a spare starter relay I'm going to attempt to switch out to see if I have any better results.
