cool man, i just tracked it also. should be to my desk in a bit! i guess i am just wondering is there another cylinder with different port timing that make more HP with my pipe? How much do you weigh Doc? i am only 145# so it makes scooters that much more fun!!! i bet my bike wont weigh much more than me when complete. Also, should i go with 19 or 21mm carb? Have you done any port work on this type of cylinder? I have a guy i might send it to who knows his stuff. I just wonder what if any more HP can be squeezed out of it. I weigh 145lbs soaking wet also..lol. With a #87.5 Main Jet..stock airbox and Tecnigas pipe..turning 6gram sliders..my 0-30 time is a flick of the switch..it pauses 1 sec or so there as the CVT 'shifts'..then from there to 56 is another 100 yds or so. Once it hits 55-56 the sliders have 'shifted' completely and the rpm's drop from 9.0k-9.5k to right about 7.8k..but speed remains the same. Can't wait to hear how you like the kit...especially if you are putting it on a featherweight Jog..wow..

Man I got it all put together and the engine back in the bike. The pipe is like 3/8 of an inch from the rear wheel shaft. I think it will be okay since they move in unison. If not I may put a little ding in the pipe. I used all the spacers and then some. Yea I can lift the bike up off the ground pretty easy. Working on the wiring and waiting on parts..I need to figure out what I am going to do about the front light. It came with the original light and speedo put is in bad shape. Maybe some fiberglass, bondo and paint will make it decent

Oh yea, my wife bought me some v3 reeds. I know on my other 2 strokes v3 reeds made a huge difference. Made the engine a lot more responsive.

Still VFORCE3. The Moto Tassinari branded version just has carbon fiber reeds instead. Both are made by MT.

MAKING PROGRESS...need a few odds and ends. dont want to put the pld controls back on but may have to and add cnc ones later. Waiting on carb, cable, new st8 neck, bars, and reeds. should be able to get it scooting before too long. I can lift this thing off the ground by leaning over it. I only weigh 145# so it cant be much over 100#. Hopefully it will be a runner!future plans electric water pump and LC set up.

usmsdoc, this is what the bbk package looked like when it showed up IMG]http://i39.tinypic.com/2wfsavd.jpg[/IMG] here is a pic of the damage to the corner of the cylinder where the stud bolts in. It made the hole oblong at the begining and no way as a stud starting. I had a tap but did not have correct drill bit. so i ground the corner down pretty far until i go to a spot the hole was round. got a stud in it.

destroyed package, i assume they repackaged it because it had a different label than the one you filled out. Holy crap!! looks like they dropped the box off a moving truck! FEDEX lady and I had that thing packed nice and tight and BOUND with packaging tape! I insured it for $100.00 Take the KIT and the pics in to them..they OWE you your money back or replace the kit. I would not tolerate damage so bad you had to grind the head..then drill and re-tap the exhaust flange bolt holes. Hold them responsible...that is why we pay for the insurance!! I am sure the kit will still work for you..BUT..that is not the way they received it. In the pics it looks like they not only dropped it..but ran the box over with a forklift or something..

yea it was destroyed but the parts were salvageable. i already got the engine assembled and it will be fine. it isnt worth the headache for $100. maybe if it was unuseable..i guess i could take my old 50jug up there..hmmmm

Jog seats are light and comfortable. Keep it, maybe a new upholstery will help.
EDIT: Well, it's not a OEM seat... do you like it ? Mine's at this height, in my opinion it's too low with small wheels...
