I think I’m going to sell the ol prebug. I’m just sick of maintaining two “race” scoots. I’m sure I’ll take a huge loss but that’s just the way it goes I guess

If you do post your price here, somebody probably wants it (I do)

It's a proven fact.... Once you have experienced hyper race.... There ain't no other scoots period. Haha! It took me less than a week. I'd tried to sell and get rid of everything else non hyper race related.

I take the Prebug under one condition, it must be delivered personally. Hehehe...
I would love to have a look at the whole front fork stuff.

Well plans have changed. My ol man called and said either you come and get this f-ing motorhome outta my shop or I’m giving it away to one of my buddies. So I now have a 1997 Winnabego Brave hahaha. Now back to scooter talk. So now it’s operation detuning time. I need something waaaay more quite and civilized for campground duty. So the R1400, open filter and 28mm carb gotta go. I still have a S6 touring exhaust, Dell 19mm, and stock airbox so it should be pretty simple. Just wondering how the MXS Racing cylinder is going to like this setup lol. Ohh well I’m not spending any money on it so it’s just gonna have to deal with it. Once everything is done and tuned the R1400 and carb will be up for sale.

I had forgot that I cut up my S6 touring exhaust to try and make a Frankenstein pipe out of a S6 race pipe for a horizontal Mina. Anyways I got it all welded back up and mounted and ready to rip. It actually sounds really good with big carb and open filter. Might just retune the trans and see how it works.

Well I ditched the 28mm carb and hooked the 19mm dell back up. I also loosened up the clutch for an earlier engagement and swapped out the 3.8g rollers for some 4.7g’s. The carb tune should be pretty close as I haven’t touched it since it came off this thing about a year ago.
I’m actually looking really forward to having a nice sport build again. I missed ripping down dirt trails and off-roading on this thing. Actually the knobby tires might have to go back on now that I think about it.

So after a bunch of tuning and not really getting anywhere, I decided to pull the MXS cylinder and install my old Athena Evo. I think the MXS was just to much cylinder for what I’m wanting to do. It would take off ok, but had nothing midrange or top end. This pipe is done at 10k and that cylinder is just starting to make power at 10k. I kinda figured this would be the out come. I’ve ran the Evo with this pipe before and it worked awesome so I should be go to go now. Testing will hopefully go down tomorrow.
