I replaced the bearing and oil seal. Didn't touch the needle bearing I don't see a problem with it. Plus all of ebay and amazon didn't have one. I did find a few but their kind of pricey. Since replacing the other bearing the drive shaft no longer rubs against the gear box.

Man I'm sorry went or and looked at that center stand it's cracked got about a 20°twist in it and the pivot holes are all egged out. I don't believe it's worth shipping cost

My 1K Hoca contra spring doesn't seem to have the same tension anymore. I think i should have installed a 1.5k since there seems to be some fading in spring tension pretty quickly. I would appreciate anyone with experience in this area chiming in...

CVT cover venting will help reduce spring fade. Any belt or clutch slip creates a lot of heat and makes it worse. You could try lighter rollers/sliders if you have them instead of replacing the contra spring. I usually use a 1000RPM contra spring in my stroker setups.

Went out for a test run.. Heard a clicking/grinding noise when I turned it over with the starter. Everything looked good when i put the CVT back together Obviously it wasn't. I also swapped out the carb i was using with a clone of the same carb. The needle is longer with a much longer taper angle. I was just curious to see how this would change performance. But gas started coming out of the overflow as soon as I turned the motor over. So the float is clearly sticking.
But so far no leaking from the gearbox. I got to get this thing going because today is such a sweet day for testing. Hot and humidity is high with no wind. Typical Florida weather...

Found the source of that noise. Not sure how this happened.

Not sure how this compares with everyone else but here it is. Looks like there is room for improvement.

Pretty narrow down here from what I am used to seeing on my other scoot. Also seems to be alot of belt dusting already not a good sign IMO.

Looks like room for improvement. Down in the front out in the back. Is that a stock variator or aftermarket. Sent from my SPH-L720 using proboards

On my 90 I think it came with a barrell spacer that was on the shaft with the cvt. The barrel is about 1/2 long and the same diameter of the wrist pin thing ( what ever its called) that the cvt rides on. Dont know if that makes a difference.

Some shims to make the drive boss a touch longer would help

Swapped out the 6g rollers for 5g sliders the lightest I have around. The build the way it is seems to prefer lighter vs Heavier. I would love to toss a Hoca variator in, but it's not in the budget right now. Also a look at my soon to be patented variator tool works good as long as your careful not to grab a fin
