Scoot looks great! Can hardly recognize what it is from the front- looks like TaoTao front plastics?

HAH That red rim is the exact same rim I have on my VX50!
Wait a minute...
Looks nice in blue. I'm still thinking of painting my exhaust, at least the expansion chamber and header. Not the muffler, that's fine how it is.

Oh and PS. The two 4t's I have on my patio are the exact same body as that. Most of the paneling is actually still in tact. I found a guy on CL near me that buys junk/parts so I may give him a call to offload them to him since I have no real use for them. It's a shame because they have good rubber (10") on them and all.

Got any turn signal covers that look better than mine?

Got any turn signal covers that look better than mine? Eh, any of the clear plastics on it are completely faded from sitting outside. These things have been sitting for so long I'm amazed they aren't dust. I'll take a look this weekend though and see if they just need to be cleaned.

Don't see what difference it makes either way as far a performance goes. Haven't done a rear-facing intake yet to know if there are easily appreciated seat of the pants gains, but the idea is that air and fuel droplets have momentum. A rear facing intake would do a little better job of aiming the charge at the transfers instead of at the crankshaft. Seems like it should be way more effective when paired with an intake with less of a bend and an angled reed block to get more of a straight shot from carb to transfers.
