I took the scooter for a quick test drive it ran great. Until i hit the brakes and the front end took a big dive downward. The front panel smashed into the fender and broke it. It would have been nice if my wife had told me they were getting soft before I test drove it. I don't see how she drove this thing.

Maybe she wasnt using the front brake?? Judging by the brake pads, she uses them. She must just drive like an old lady. I'll pull them tomorrow and see whats up. I don't see any leaks. So I'm assuming spring fade. I'll do what you did in the tech section thread.

It wasn't easy getting to them without removing the big front body panel. So I elected to just give up a little skin instead....lol

I finished flushing the forks. The right side needed it three times and I noticed the dust seal is cracking. The left side was done with one. The dust seal is crack free and looks way better than it should. Since I knew what shop this scooter came from before the previous owner. Plus the fact it had been laid down on the left side before he got it from the shop. I'm almost positive it got a newish fork on left side only.

wow 40mph so far. Gets off the line quick. hopefully I can get it to cruise all day at 45. Even with the 13to1 axe hanging over my head. I do have the hoca 41.4mm in there so I can risk a little higher rpms.

Looks like i'll be doing a gear swap between scoots for now, until I get the scoot budget built back up. My wife is hating the 13to1.
