Got all the part in today to finish installing the brake etc on the rear end. Started modifying the CVT cover. Installed the new piston and put the top end back together. The speedometer broke. Checked it out and determined the problem is in the instrument cluster its self. I wanted to get a trail tech vapor for it, but the wife said it looks ugly. So now i am on the hunt for a new speedo that isn't ugly, digital and back lit. Will post some pictures tomorrow.

I have a Koso unit that measures MPH and trip etc, but also can do 1/8th, 1/4 mile, etc tests. You can program it to run any set speed and record ET. For instance, mine is set for 1/8th mile (200meter) runs. For the speed test i have it set to time my 0-30MPH runs. They are kinda pricey but after 4 years of use i can say i think they are worth it. I have had no trouble at all out of it. Easy to set up, easy to use.    You can find them at SIP or about any other big retailer for around $100 |

I found an o.e.m. LCD unit for Ventos with tach and fuel cheap. If your running bare bars mounting would take some work.

This is what i am dealing with at the moment.The lens is the best i can get it even after buffing and cleaning but at least i can see through it now. I just mounted my tach temperalily with some velcro tabs. If this was just my scooter i would strip it down to the bars and just install some $20 needle gauges.  |
