A 6004 bearing is 20mmIDX42mmODX12mm Wide. The Bearing seal is what keeps the tranny oil off the axle, the new bearing should fix the problem.Make sure the tranny is not over filled also..

Well if over filled it would come out of vent tube. It is leaking from inside drum. Guess that could be from over filling

I borrowed a go pro from a friend so I am going to make a video. Should be interesting. I dont have gauges so I am going to mount phone in video sight to keep up with mph. On another note I can not figure out my lights. I had the wired up with led head light then tail light came loose caught I wheel and ripped off. So I have no lights on my 90cc. I have been thinking about doing a engine swap and putting the 90 in my taotao. Dont know if electric system is the same. Just a thought for now, but the tao has all the things I am missing, blinkers, horn, lights battery ect..I know it is heavier but I think that is mainly because engine components. It is a little bigger but not too much. Or I may just keep the 90 as a drag bike

You'd prob have to do some re-wiring to swap the 90 into a 4T chassis. By the time you weld in new mounts and figure out the electrical it would prob be much easier just to get lights working on the current scoot.

I don't recall there being a seal there. The outter bearing is a sealed bearing for sure because I remember I took it out wjen I was gonna run stock jog gears. The jog bearing od was fine but other things didnt match up I am very happy with the 8.1 atv gears.

I got the bearing in the mail and tried to slide it on the stock jog shaft. It is too big which means it should fit the 90. I just dont remember hor far the bearing goes on? Only to the lip right past the s plines or onto the big lip

Install the bearing into the case and the axle goes where it goes basically.

So how much gear oil goes into one of these things? I see on the case it says 100cm2. How much is that? I am just thinking I am over filling and thus the leak. Just dont want to run too low and lock up bearings at speed. I think 100ml but that isnt much imo. I drained it yesterday and had about a cup in itm too much? Maybe rear bearing is good just too much fluid.

Is that a typo? Does it say cm2 or cm3? cm3/cc/ml are all the same. So 100cc or 100ml or 100cm3. Whatever you wanna call it. Fluids aren't usually measured in square centimeters. Either way, I'd put in 100-120cc.

If you put much over 100ml it will leak out the oil seal past the bearing and spray your tire full. You think it would go out the overflow tube first but NOPE. You seat the oil seal from the tire side. It sits just behind the CIRCLIP. I ordered a complete seal kit from amazon It wasn't that expensive and it pays to have extra seals.
