I have done a little research on the Technigas and it looks like it has padding inside of the walls scooterforum.net/threads/tecnigas-next-r-padding-in-exhaust-pics.143758/

Almost a shame to cover it in dust and road grime. I hope it runs as good ad it looks. It was worth the extra time to polish it out.

Yeah, I wouldn't cut it apart to remove that. Did you notice any big gains when you removed that from a Leo ZX 90GT?

I really don't think the baffle removal did much for me. Changed the sound. Back then I didn't document stuff very well so I can't tell you with a lot of certainty exactly how much it did, but the fact that it's only enough that I could only say it may or may not have done anything should say something.
I accidentally ran the 50cc version with a header restrictor in place once. Now that turned a 90cc into a 50cc.

I wouldn't cut it apart to take that out of a street pipe. If I wanted more I'd build a pipe or get one from John

After seeing the 'innards' of that pipe,I'd check the dimensions of it,adjust whats needed and hope for the best!!
