So you're talking about the needle bearing inside the rear pulley assembly or are you talking about the bearing where the "driveshaft" passes through the case? I think you mean the former, just making sure.
My driveshaft moves inside the bearing in the case, but I've been told this is normal. Both my Tritons are like that. I'm pretty sure there's play between the driveshaft and the rear clutch assembly.

Im talking about the cvt cover bearing and the shaft that goes in it. Mine rattles around inside the bearing

lol
The largest point of that shaft's OD is 7.95mm at the end. It goes down to about 7.69mm. It's kinda hard to get a good measurement on the bearing cause my mics won't reach well. I'm getting 7.90mm, which is probably wrong. Regardless, it's quite a snug fit.

A knock pin from a 4 stroke may be close. EDIT : Just went and checked for you. The dowel from my 50cc GY6 measures 7.95mm OD and 7.3mm ID. It slides into the bearing in the CVT cover snug, won't slide over my driveshaft, but it may work for you. Jeremy sells them. www.enviromoto.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=5154830Otherwise, you may wanna take a trip to your local hardware store and look around.

I would think a good approach would be to reduce the diameter of the shaft slightly and then get a bearing whose id is appropriate for that. My Derbi has caged needle bearings on the end of the shaft as well as a sealed bearing in the cover.

Got the cover bearing issue worked out and went on a ride Sat that started well and ended with a 12 mile scooter tow using my arm as a tow strap. Uncle and i went on a long country ride and Skeedr was running great cruising 50-55 at around 9,500 with no problems, everything was great. We had road about 30 miles and i was getting low on fuel and didnt have my oil with me so we started head back from BFE. When i rounded a turn and started to roll back on the throttle Skeedr felt lame so i went to burp the throttle and it just quit like i hit the key. Of course only one wrench this time , so all i could do was take the seat out and make sure i had fuel. I would have checked for spark but the compression was way down so i suspected the worst. I had my phone but it would have taken at least 45 min for a ride, if they found us. I knew i wouldnt just sit there and wait, so i mentioned a scooter tow lol. Uncle and i laughed, then looked at each other serious. All we had was a bungy strap and that aint gonna work, so next thing ya know my arm is a tow strap . It wouldnt have been so bad if i wasnt 12 miles from home with a few dreaded hills ahead. We did it though lol, my arms sore as hell and uncles Kymco begging for a fan . Another crazy one for the books. That was Saturday morning, by one in the afternoon is was sick and stayed that way until this morning so i havent even looked at Skeedr yet. I did notice a wet spot that looks to be a leak in the case seal about 2 or 3 inches below my intake. I would just think the intake was leaking but it the wet spot doesnt go up that far . Not looking good, ive been thinking about cranks and such way too much while being sick. Now im gonna go see what happened. All report back soon

That sucks. I hope you find something simple.... then choose to build a stroker anyway. lol

Back to 49cc,s for a little bit . Looks like i soft seized it . Just not enough oil by the looks of it. I got piston smeared all over the place . I feel kinda dumb about it but i still think something else helped push it over the edge. I have been running it this way for a long while and never had a problem. I did notice my leak is coming from the intake, it just wasnt that obvious. Maybe that caused it to lean up enough to get hot? I dont know yet. The cylinder is still good, thats one good thing i guess. Even though im pretty much stuck with buying a $50+ piston if i ever wanna use it again. I found this and thought it was funny Soft Seize Poetry When soft seizing you will hear, The motor goes waaaa ka ka klink. The sound it makes is very clear, The clunk you feel is very distinct. When you ride hard on a nice cold night, Or take your filter off on a real hot day. Your motor starts to strain and fight, Yap yap yap it calls in dismay. And then all of a sudden, You gain 5 miles per hour. And you start to wonderin', From where came this power? Well that my friend… its the last little bit Of life you are squeazin' from that brand new kit. If only you’d listened when your bike cried, “Hold the fucking choke down and pull to the side.” “Now take off your shoe and give me your sock, Put it over my filter and tie it. We’re going home, slow as sh*t. But hey at least you don't have to walk!” Wow, I'm blazed. Poetry by Harold

The intake leak could be at fault and it probably doesn't help that the weather is getting colder. I upjetted mine from 100 to 105 now that I'm riding on 40-50 degree nights inseatd of 60-80 degree nights.

I took a closer look at the piston and the upper ring was barely stuck, i fiddled around with it for less than a minute and got it unstuck. I could hone the cylinder and clean the piston up and reuse it but not right now. Im just gonna put the stock top end back on and ride with it while i figure out what to do. Im gonna collect sum parts before the next motor. You are probably right Brent, i think it was a tad lean before the intake started leaking then it got too lean and hot . Is your 90cc cooling fan different than your 49cc fan? I was looking at Auto,s stroker kit and he says to use a 90cc fan. Whats the diff? I know thats not why i got hot, just curious...

The 90cc fan has larger fins. It definitely pulls more air. 50cc (although they usually have a center section) 90cc I'd suggest the 90cc fans to anyone. I left my fan off for a quick test run (1 mile) and it melted the plastic shroud to the engine. Since then, obviously no test runs without a shround and I tape the seams in the engine shroud sections to keep as much air in as possible.
