Blew another tail light because the ground wire in the CYB 50B was an after thought. Now I just have to wedge the ground wire between the bulb base and the socket wall.

threw my tie downs in the seat bucket of the zuma and road 20 miles to get a free truck. Pulled the windshield and mirrors to get it in under the topper. First time it's been off in 6 years I kinda like it. Started pulling panels off the rx8 so I can put the new locks in it and get it going

Its press fit into a soft rubbery plastic thing that barely fits into its hole. Very poor quality design.

Howdy All! My first post but I have been lurking for several weeks I'm a scooter noob but I just bought a 2014 TaoTao ATM50 and this past week I replaced the vacuum lines, fuel lines, fuel filter and next up I plan on replacing the Petcock with a manual valve like Brent showed in his PDI. Additionally, last night I ordered a new Carb (same as the one Brent replaced his Stock Carb with). I think since I changed the lines the scoot has been running a little lean and has stalled at a stop sign once, and once after an emergency stop...I am hoping with the new carb being unsealed that I will be able to nip this in the butt. Trying to do a lot of preventative maintenance before I move to Miami, FL from Madison, WI in early August!

Make sure you don't have a kink or pinch in the fuel line

Went and picked up the mail and got groceries, odometer rolled past my 2300km service mark so came home and:
- changed motor oil - changed gear oil - cleaned and oiled air filter - cleaned cvt case+belt+pulleys - trickle charged/topped off battery - pulled spark plug, checked, cleaned, reinstalled

Make sure you don't have a kink or pinch in the fuel line Sent from my SPH-L720 using proboards Interesting suggestion... I took off the seat bucket and realized I had pinched a vacuum line between the seat bucket and where it gets bolted down. I was expecting a kinked fuel line. This would still cause the lack of fuel and cause it to run lean... Right? I'm new to mechanical stuff... Health care provider so I'm better at fixing the human body

So now that I found this I plan on still replacing the carb but the my next question would be about the aforementioned kinked vacuum line. It wasn't broken or punctured but it is a little disfigured. Worth replacing it again or should it be fine with it just being a vacuum line?
