Got the Habana running again after four years of sitting unused. Brought back memories of why I used to hate working on it. Any scooter you have to take off the rear light to get to the carb is crazy! But its now back together again. Waiting on a switch panel now. that the aprilia Habana ? i hate them bikes so much lol Oh you have worked on one too! 😂 Because it's Vespa running gear, fitted under a different body. Nothing is easy. The frame is in front of the spark plug. I had to modify the battery box so you could get the battery out without taking all the body off. My wife loved it though. She can no longer ride, and hasn't ridden for years. So it needs to go.

That's a great buy.👍 The only thing with the malaguti it's a shame it has a drum rear brake. Not the end of the world though. Are you going to fit it first, before any modifications?

Are you going to fit it first, before any modifications? going into town soon to get some engine cleaner and some hardware so i can fit the radiator then getting the engine in after cleaning it up i wanted to stay with rear drum so i did not have to change rear wheel or brake setup as my bike has rear drum after looking up and seeing it puts out 4.2hp at 6500rpm when restricted im just going to take the restrictor ring out the variator and fit my tecnigas q-tre exhaust then use it to tuesday as thats going to be my next day off but in 2-3 weeks im going to start the hyper race build with this engine or if this engine runs very well just pickup one more set of malaguti cases and build from that well i say hyper race build i just want to build a engine to around the 20hp so that can be done with the stage 6 street race kit and some porting but not 100% sure on the full specs i want yet but have seen the gear up kit i want secondary gear up kit 14/41-52 so 30% longer gearing over stock

Try kicking over aPhelon & Moore Panther model 120 650cc single they send you into orbit and knacker your ankle mrchilled85 and aeroxbud . I dont know youth of today! On another note I have been doing my 150 et4 engine putting on the cooling shrouds and cannot find the bottom one, I checked back on my pics on here and the bottom one deffo on there but before I moved my stuff about halfway through stripping I tidied up an area of my mates workshop which was a mess. So guess who has to sort through 2 wheelie bins of rubbish and numerous cardboard boxes filled with crap at some point tomorrow Knowing my memory I put it somewhere safe and will remember after a fruitless search.

It's called tool blindness, looking for an hour for the wrench that is in your left hand. Or the part that is sitting on top of your toolbox. Welcome to perceptional reality. BTW, it gets worse with age... Eyes can't see, ears can't hear, nose can't smell, hands can't feel... Your leg can be on fire and you are still looking for a tool

Removed the CVT cover on the habana and painted it. Sounds simple right? Took an hour to get the cover off. The cover won't pull straight off. You can't tilt it forward or back to remove it. Can't get at two Of the bolts with a socket, or a spanner. Can you see why I hate working on it? Opened the gearbox on the slider. This is what I found. IMG_20200710_163109
