Your main indicator lights on the scooter should be battery operated DC incandescent unless you have converted them to something else, so just use LED lamps in the sidecar fixtures. The low added current should not bother the main circuits at all.
You should mount a .30 caliber machine gun on the sidecar for the rider to operate.

I think water must have got in through the breather pipe. The bearings don't feel rough. A bit of play in the gears, but probably normal wear.

The breather will suck in water due to heat expanding the air in the gear case then cooling while exposed to moisture, riding in the rain, riding through big puddles, or deep water, etc etc. It is probably why the manuals recommend gear oil changes so often. After seeing that I might consider a check valve in the breather line (if you have one) to let air pressure out but not back in.

Made Ignition Pulse Generator mod for Honda (same as 139qmb mod, 2-3% change?) and drilled 2,5mm off to advance timing. Didn't notice much change when testing, maybe a little smoother top end power, but then again, Honda has always been easy to ride, not a screamer. Riding position is like on those old women's bicycles. Great for commuting.

Fitted the uprated master cylinder, and braided line. Looks like the four pot caliper conversation is a no go. The forks have a strange mounting distance. The stage 6 adaptor won't fit. And the only adaptor that I could find won't clear the rim. 😢

Today after a weekend break I got Yammy Neos mot'ed and new battery on it, getting on with the spare 150ET4 engine, stuck now waiting for a 7mm exhaust stuff no one local even has a bolt I can cut down so ordered some lambretta ones off ebay. Got bike ready Rosebud ready for service but need diff oil which they got in the workshop so no prob and a transmission plug as the screw in one is broken but got a spare on the spares kit so will do that tomorrow hopefully.

Today I serviced Rosebud and found the Tapatalk app. Engine and transmission oil done and tyre's next job paint sort on right-hand side. Made a bit of mess draining the oil.Next up is the Yamaha Neos to improve running. At least it's stopped smoking like mad.

Just stick to the four strokes. None of that oil change shenanigans. The Neos just needed a bit of use then? 😁

But once finished changing the odd bits tomorrow and checked choke cable I will know for definite. Hopefully it is then off for sale. Yep nothing like a good 4stroke much simpler 🙃

But, but, 4 strokes have those messy walvus tings waste sparkers and slower than slugs.
