I wish I had before and after pics to show you of that gilera rcr I posted in scoot pic of the day, that was pink in places. We used the heat gun and well you can see how red she is. I kept it for two years and it was still deep red the day I sold it so it really does work. It brings the oil in the plastic back to the surface Polishing the plastic after the heat gun really helps lock the shine in

It was 2T riding day yesterday The ET2 sporting it's new plate went for a ride then the SR50. The pink scoot was too buried to ride.

Today I worked a bit on the vento triton. prepping to remove the engine to properly clean and work on. Also peaked at the Super 9's wheels for a date (I didnt find one but they are probably original *yikes*) however, while peaking I noticed the rim said: 'RAZZE AVIO MADE IN ITALY' the more ya know

Saturday: Ordered bits and bobs for the LX. The pilot jet is clogged despite pinkscoot efforts to clean it out. I'm of Robot's school of thought to go ahead and replace it anyway. I'm not a wizard at this as pinkscoot. so best hope to get longer life out of the new jet. Mystery to me how it clogged: I ride regularly and put Seafoam thru now and then. Parts don't need a reason to fail? I'd keep the old jet as a spare if it was cleaned out. Cangrats on the plate pinkscoot.

The Yamaha dealer replaced it. Run great after. I asked them why they go bad. They said it happens, didn't know why. It wasn't even blocked! This is an interesting watch. Seafoam, might be making it worse!

Actually it was the idle jet that clogged. But I did pick up a new pilot jet as well.
Interesting how you see your mistake after sending the post.

Seafoam, might be making it worse! thats a great youtube channel for all things 2 wheels for any experience level to be honest. that being said this is why i use b12 cleaner shit just works and ive never had anything that went bad from it, besides rubber gaskets lol those can get destroyed but just be smart when your cleaning nxt to 1. i put a bit in with gas after about 500 miles and i rarely have carb issues. spent the better portion of today working on the new riva 180cc, front brake stuck a bit, oil was all old im sure, so did fluids, and cleaned the brakes a bit. still has the original tires from 84 on it would like to keep those just for kicks till they do pop lol as unsafe as that sounds.
