Went on a mini monday ride with a big group, rode for almost 7 hours straight. During the ride i upped my main jet to a 120 and lowered my needle clip down one position. I also ended up running over a nail in my rear tire and breaking my rear brake lever for the THIRD TIME by just using it. It seems to be a weak point on these bikes.

aeroxbud do you remember if the Aprilia Habana 125 has a immobiliser fitted. I'm not going to look at my old one tomorrow afternoon with a view to purchase now it's not well. Honestly! I am sure Yolanda will be happy if I pick it up being poorly. I'm sure I discussed it with her? Damn selective memory of mine.

But it was the early pre leader engine.

Other than what I said in the video the only other problem was a oil leak. That was cured by putting in a smaller bolt.

Purchased a steering stem for Zuma Prebug from Scooter Swap Shop and it fits perfectly on my roughhouse. Also purchased some handlebars form Misguided Co the local Stunt Bike shop. Extended the wires (after I took the pictures) but I need a longer throttle cable and front brake hose. I ordered both and am waiting for them to arrive. I still havent replaced my left brake lever since it broke because im debating whether i should buy one of those RSC Finger Clutch lever sets meant for stunt bike clutch levers. I mocked one up a friend has and it would fit perfectly.

Saved myself some money and sorted throttle routing out but what have they done to get this to happen. Last night I found one bolt to long, hopefully the same and replacing them cures the bloody leak.

Repaired the water pump. New seal and bearings. Think it was the only job I've never done on an Aerox before. Was not too bad to do.

Can't be many ZX pipes left in that condition. 👍

whats crazy is i got it for free when i used to work at Scooterworks Chicago. A customer had a completely stock scooter with this pipe on it and it barely ran because he didnt understand jetting etc. The customer just bought a stock exhaust and literally threw this away so the manager gave me permission to keep it. It was completely rusted and covered in oil you couldnt even see the logo when i originally got it.

Well how things have changed from when I last owned this about a year ago. Either the people I sold it to or the people I bought it from who said there son's mate lost the keys. Oil leak was because there was no oil sealant or gasket on the oil pan when removed as it was pouring out oil when started. In other places to longer bolts or no bolts, air filter housing not secure no bolts and screws half hanging out. Shone the inspection light up into the engine and saw shiny throttle cable inner wire as outer cable is old, tied onto a 2 inch nut and bolt and a spring which would look at home on a centre stand trailing away from it. I turned off inspection lamp phoned son and told him to buy a new Lexmoto zsb as they doing a £1619 deal on at the moment. After a 6 hour drive doing a small removal for neighbours daughter today I thought it was best to walk away 😭
