Today my new fuel sender unit arrived, so checked it out against the Habana one as this is for a Aprilia Scarabeo. Only a couple of millimetres longer and wrong connection on lead but it fits. Filled tank to the brim and no more leaks Got home after tonight's meeting and made up a connector and on in the morning. Scarabeo sender unit £39, Habana one £120 or near that a very fine saving for a small amount of work. After riding the bike a lot today I noticed the transmission bearings are rumbling a little so get them and that's my last job on there for a while. Also did a GPS run on the flat. Speedo read 72 mph. True speed was 56mph.

Swapped out the black turn signals for the chrome ones. Installed the new (and quite beefy) KS kickstand. Bike leans properly now. Had to grind the nut off the back of the mounting plate because the foot peg bolt was a smaller size. Used a correct sized nylock nut. Job done.

Is that adjustable by the nut on it? sToRm Looks very good. Much better than the cheapo ones.

Yes it is adjustable for height. This is the best kickstand in the world. A lil pricey but well worth the money($65)and effort installing it. Definitely getting another one for the secret bike I’m building, in total secrecy.

Feeling better as of late, decided to take a scooter ride. This thing seems louder every time I ride it but I don't see anything wrong with the exhaust except the silencer clamp is missing. I am pretty sure it had one at some point. Lol

I hate changing head bearings. Looks to be even less fun than changing tires.

Head bearings in this heat today must be intolerable down there unless you have sea breeze. I been doing bits on the Pox but at least we got the wind down the valley which makes it bearable. Someone said it was 78f up here today.

78°F isn't too bad but 80°F is much worse. That is why I have a BUBBA FAN, -an attic fan from a yard sale turned on it's side. It will blow a breeze 30 feet or more. I just had to add some guards and a motor I already had. I found it at a yard sale when someone had bought it new and just used the motor on it to repair their already installed fan. The fans are cheap new complete with a two-speed motor, but replacement two-speed motors are hard to find and expensive.

Where is that F- or I don't like it button? 88°F is too hot. I used to work in a place that was cold, 80°F and <10% humidity.
