This 90cc has something majorly wrong inside. I have uncovered and resolved a bunch of little issues tonight and finally got everything smooth enough to realize that something is hitting or better yet grinding inside the case. The piston and cylinder look fine. Nothing to be alarmed about there... When the motor is running on the stand and I'm standing next to it, I can feel the vibration through the concrete as whatever it is inside clanks away. I'll be dropping it back out tomorrow and putting the 49cc back in while I figure out what's going on inside this motor... ugghh

With what I'm going through, I'm surprised you aren't throwing the engine through the wall yet lol. Keep at it though, patience helps. Sometimes. I just am being nickle and dime to death by mine.

The puller is PFS # 202-10.
If it's wobbling around, check the races for the crank bearings if that crank comes out. One of my engines was making some bad noises and vibrating a lot and I found that I could slide the bearing in and out of one case half without any tools or heat.

They usually make a howling noise from my experiences with bad crank bearings. But add a few nicks in the howling bearing and all the sudden its a howling Bobcat, thats stuck in a trap! The engine will tell you when these are bad as it acts like a big megaphone with the bearing. Another thing to check if flywheel to pick-up gap. Ive seen a few (one recently) that made awful noises but still ran with the flywheel hitting the pick-up.

I went to the clinic from work today due to knee pain so bad I can barely walk on it. Turns out I have torn ligaments in my left knee. Joy! So I'm at home supposed to be "resting it" for the day and on light duty when I return tomorrow. So I'm "resting it" by digging into this 90cc lol. My computer is in the garage so I'll just take it easy and be sure to take lots of "computer breaks" haha. It's not a permanent injury but will take a few weeks to heal. Nice to have the extra time as usually I'm fighting the clock and working until 2am. Plus, this will give me some time to clean up this major mess I have going. Scooter parts spread everywhere! It's giving me anxiety to work in such a mess. Updates coming soon! Oh Yeah, I also received some scoot parts in the mail: 2 bearings and the motor mount rod so I don't have to keep swapping the motor mount parts out while switching motors. Thanks Partsforscooters!

Thanks fellas! I'm a Maintenance Supervisor for a 144 unit high end apartment complex so my job is pretty physical. Taking refrigerators and water heaters up and down stairs and running around making these spoiled residents happy takes a toll on a guy! The good news is it doesn't hurt to ride my scoot I'm really glad I got the parts scoot. All the little extra odds n ends have made my life easier as far as having two complete motors I can swap in and out relatively easily. Here's a pic of the two motors side by side. I've noticed that the motor mount rod that goes through the bearings is a bit offset... I didn't pay much attention to it when I swapped over to the 90cc, but it may explain why the shock mount seemed a little off. I'll know shortly which way it's supposed to be offset as I'm about to pop the 50cc back in.
