I wouldn't offer if I wasn't willing. Do me a favor and spray it down with degreaser or brake cleaner and a hose. My HOA is kinda funny about me doing that stuff in the driveway. I learned the hard way. Lol

I learned the hard way. Lol Good thing I just bought a gallon of purple power and 2 cans of brake cleaner! hah. It's been sprayed quite a bit, the only real greasy part is that center kick stand, which btw it doesn't hold the back wheel off the ground. It just holds the bike straight and is a bear to kick the bike off of. But yeah I gotcha. I wouldn't send it to you dripping with sludge. Before we do this, I'll give it a good hosing. Thank you dude. PS, if I have any tools that you may need to borrow, just ask. Now to figure out when we can do this. |

So I'm thinking of ordering the Tao Tao Thunder, so I have something while the VX50 gets sorted out. What do you guys think? Yeah, I know it's a 4t but after the PDI and all, I'll feel more comfortable with it for the GF. Scootermadness has it for $800.
Unless someone can point me towards a new 2t I can buy for the same price. That's my limit, after tax, tag and what not it's going to set me back at least $1k and that's going to hurt and all.

I'm actually talking to a local dealer now that has a Wolf (Gorilla Brand) scooter with 400 miles on it, she's asking $699 plus $165 for Tax tag and title. It's a 4t, 12" tires, they've done fluid changes on it, I may do the fuel lines and filter myself if it looks soft and stock to me since I have all that, also I have a spare fuel pump too. This deal isn't bad if it included shipping, I'd still have to pay tax tag and title myself, which I'd rather have the dealer do it for me. Oh and PS, this isn't for sale in my state.  |

That's a good looking scoot! Yeah, it is. It's a 4t, I'm going to try and swing by today to look at it. They will deliver it too, which helps. I'm thinking I can offset some of the cost by parting out the old ones I have sitting and selling my PS4. |

Bummer bro that you're forced to the darkside of the 4t world haha. But yeah, I could see the frustration setting in of trying to get a scoot in good shape while needing it as a daily driver. It's definitely more enjoyable to "tune" a scoot for performance than it is to be wrenching on it constantly just to keep it reliable. IMO anyway... I hope all works out good for you brother! I've heard good things about the Thunder and its probably one of the sharpest looking 4t's out there! IMO again.
I really wish u were closer to me as I have a good strong running longcase 2T 49cc just sitting on the floor in my garage. It came in real handy as a backup when my 90cc turned out to need new crank (main?) Bearings, but honestly now I don't see myself doing anything with it anytime soon as I have a baby daughter coming in less than a month!

How far exactly are u from Tampa? 4 hours? Hmm.. IDK but if u interested we might be able to something happen... a day trip? I also have a laptop that won't even start up anymore... I am usually the one that friends bring their computers to for repair but this one seems beyond me and I have stuff on it that I really want/need. Maybe trade motors and a little $$- I can take CC by PayPal too... you could be into a strong reliable 2t for $100 or less after a daytrip. IDK just thinking out loud here. Lemme know if any of this interests you brother I could bring the motor and scoot in our van and go ridin' after we threw the motor into your VX50... just thinking out loud...

She's brought the price down for me where it won't kill me to get it. I'll just have to eat bread and water for 6 months lol. YAY DIET! That will be my speed mod, lose weight LMAO! But hey honestly, having a 2t and 4t could be fun. Or I could start a drinking habit lol. I will let you know about the motor though. I want to put a BBK on the Baccio and make that my project bike as I originally intended, so I'll have to see how funds look once I get it running and maybe tune it a bit. Unfortunately though due to legal reasons, I wouldn't be able to come out to you for the trip. *sigh* Long story, perhaps one day you'll have a good laugh at my expense. |

Well I think the Wolf is a bust. It's actually a GM M1, older than I thought. Not sure if it's a sound investment for $699 with $165 for tax tag and title. I took it for a short test run and it stalled out when I went to give it throttle. It started back up though. The flasher relay keeps going even though the flashers aren't on, but they do work when you use them. The mechanic there said when someone buys it, he will go over it all, change fluids, fix the flasher relay and make sure it's tuned right. So I don't know, would it be worth it? I'm not sure maybe it's a 2012. Plus they can't deliver it so I'll have to get a truck down there to bring it home. It's a trek to my house from there on fast roads, I'm not sure it will keep up that well really. I dunno.

That's the 4T scoot I almost drove 2hrs. round trip to go look at until 2TDave and Brent told me the "2t" expansion pipe on it is fake! lol. I really like the looks of that scoot- would like to drop a 2T into one. |

Where is it? How's it look? It's at 1Stop Scooter Shop, in North Palm. It's an M1, not an M2. It's clean really, I just hate that she sucks at details lol. So yeah it's a GMW M1. GMW / Wolf M1It's silver/black. It rode ok, I just am not sure if it's worth buying for that much or not. But it could have potential. |
