I would up the contra weight, try a slightly lighter roller. Sometimes lighter rollers can give you the magic more acceleration and top speed because it gets it out of load earlier.
For the less engaged feeling I dont know what clutch adjustability you have but less weight on the shoes may give you that off throttle disengaged feel. I think that is what you are describing.

Frame is Steel.
I assume the length is where the seat is, as these seem to have a longer bum than the Zips.

No it's a bit longer than a Zip. It is about as close as you are going to get in North America tho.

Got it plated and rocking. Not fast by any means but it handles like a dream.

Just slot the grooves with a round file a little deeper next time.
I check this on almost every pulley set I put on, most can be modded for more travel.

What weights in the vario? Is it just shifting too early? Different ramp plate and vario body may mean drastically different weights.
Rig up a gopro near your cutouts and watch while driving

Yup. It's pure insanity. The Dio lobs the wheel with the speedo buried at 60kph. Congrats on the test pilot.

I have run both 220 and 200mm on 10"..
It is a dance to get the caliper and bracket on, usually you have to loosen/remove the rotor bolts, then slide the caliper on then fit the bracket in between and then install rotor bolts.
It can be done though, I have a 220 on my Dio and a 200 on the Spree... or the other way around I forget. Both are 4 pot
