youtu.be/5EkdbWjQwKEThis is the scooter that didn't have any oil. I put the right amount of 15-40 oil in. Now it's smoking like crazy. It didn't smoke before I put the oil in. I drained what oil was in there before I put new oil in and there was literally like 5 drops came out. Like I said it didn't smoke before I put the oil in. 100cc bbk on this if that helps Damn it sounds like shit too lol just realized that when I watched the video. Gonna have to adjust them valves. It's hard to tell what TDC is because the sprocket they put on there has holes all the way around it so u can't make sure they line up like I usually would

Nice blue smoke. Have you done a compression test? Looks like you're burning oil.

Could be broken rings or the oil pump crapped out.

Wait, do I have this right? It did not smoke before you put in the oil yet, when you drained it, it only had like 5 drops in it? How long did you run it with out any oil in it? It makes sense that it would not smoke if there were no oil in it as no oil could get up to get past the rings.
Did the guy you got it from drain the oil so it would not smoke when he started it for you? How many miles are on this scoot?

From what I can tell in your video. Your exhaust looks like it has a leak where the pipe meets the can. Check that section out. May just need tightening. But You should only have smoke coming out of the end of your exhaust. Smoke is o.k. Sometimes, could just be carbon build up or overly rich.

I'd say since it has a BBK, you are definitely burning oil due to the rings, either failing, or the ring gaps are not staggered. Somehow oil is getting into the combustion chamber. Sounds like the idle is really high too. Normal idle is usually around 2k rpm if you have a tach.

It's wasn't smoking before because it had no oil.You have no cooling shrouds in pic were you running it like that? My guess is if all that's wrong with the topend is what iwike said you are lucky. It's prolly not an 80cc anymore.

Yea I know the exhaust is loose right there. So basically what do I need to do to fix this issue?

No cooling shroud and your engine will run uber hot! Remove the valve cover and see if there is oil up there. You may have been burning it to oil dust! Also, If it was me, I would definitely not run it again until I pulled the head and cylinder to check the piston, rings, cylinder, etc..

So I just had someone look at it. They said set the timing to tdc and mark it. Then pull the head out the oil ring is more than likely stuck or installed in the wrong position

Pull the head and cylinder. It's obvious you have oil going into your combustion chamber. Check the condition of your cylinder walls. look at your rings. See if they are still good and the gap of each ring is not over top of each other.
If you have been running without that cooling shroud, you may have way more damage to your engine than you know, especially not having any oil in there. You may be lucky, but your lower engine needs oil too..
Did you put the BBK in?
