Thanx. Doesn't run yet, still need to hook up fuel lines and score an air filter.

Back to working on this bike. I ended up pulling the motor for an '86 aero I had that I flipped. I had a complete aero motor in pieces waiting for new crank bearings, and now I'm finally getting around to putting it together. I need to grab the crank from the machine shop (had to have them pull the old bearings off cuz they were froze) and pick up some bolts and a couple bearings, as well as lots of carb cleaner. I think I'm gonna use the dj-1 mount to shorten it up a little, keep the engine stock, and slam it on ruckus wheels. Pics to follow.

I just fucked up the crank splines trying to install the crank. Dammit. Anybody got an af05e they're willing to sell me? I need one bad haha.

Ruckus wheel with tiny little tire on it. '88 Honda elite motor (thanks jonadz!) w ruckus wheel and 90/90-10 tire. Getting hard to find parts for these motors, but I got everything even the airbox I think I'm gonna keep the motor all stock, maybe a ruckus variator for some more top speed. This motor should do 40-45 as it sits, especially when bolted up to a tiny little spree. More pics coming soon.

Got the motor in and everything lines up good. I need a couple small things before I can fire it up tho. It has a small stretch, but not much. It's a little lower than Factory too, but it has a very stiff shock from a Zuma on there so it should be okay. That 90/90 is huge on there haha. I think I'm going to end up using an 88 Elite Fork so I can run the Ruckus wheel up front.

Almost done. I need to pick up some Hardware to put the body panels together properly, and I need a unifilter and a belt.

yeah. I got an unpainted one. its sitting in buyee warehouse with another bolt on honda glove box for one of my aeros. you get 30 free days of storage, so ill buy a few things and consolidate shipping. its cheaper that way. if I was only getting the pipe, with the pipe, buyee fees, and shipping it would cost about $110 USD. shipping is $75 by itself. with the pipe, glove box, 2 AF05e kickers ($9ea) im bidding on and a full set of dj1 fairings im thinking of getting($10) consolidated shipping will be around 120-140ish. it will only take at the most 2 weeks to receive here once I consolidate and choose shipping type. for another $20 id get it in 4 days. if youre looking for motor stuff search AF05 or AF09, if youre looking for spree stuff search AF06 or eve, smile or pax. spree, nq50, aero, nb50 wont find you anything. japan doesn't use the N-50 designations I guess.
if you ever find a place with those crankshafts collecting dust on a shelf, let me know where. if I find them first, ill do the same.
