So I have an ad up on Craigslist that I work on scooters. I have gotten quite a bit of business from it but today someone called me and asked if I could swap out the whole "group" on his 1979 Vespa. He said he wanted to make it 150cc from 125cc. So assumed he meant swap out the piston. I was truthful and told him I worked on Chinese Scooters mainly and I had never had any experience working on a Vespa. I thought I sounded dumb for saying that... Are they harder to work on?

they never set it the first time. they said collarbones usually heal on their own and they rarely do surgery to fix them unless you are an athlete. Plus my insurance from my job doesnt kick in til october first (6 more days) so i think that had a lot to do with them not doing more than what they did. I have an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon on the 4th so i will know more then...
the 2 blue lines are the 2 pieces of collarbone resting on top of each other which is fine but then there is that piece thats sticking up... the dr said since they are probably gonna have to go in and remove thgat piece that they will more than likely put a pin in my collarbone to secure it from any further movement. IDK we will see i guess

If I can't find something on here that I'm looking for I just do a Google Search and it usually brings me to a thread from this forum. So that goes to show this forum is by far the best for scooter info out there.. Or sometimes it will take me to a scootdawg thread but it seems that forum is old and inactive. So this forum is the best scooter forum by far with up to date information also

Yea when I have my phone in the holder and have the GPS app on it says I'm doing 40 mph and my speedometer on my scooter is maxed out at 55 lol. Also yester I went to my moms house which is 6.4 miles from my house and my odometer on my scooter said I traveled 12 miles. So I'm guessing my scooter has a little over half the miles that it says... Odometer says 3500 I'm gonna guess it really has around 2000-2500 miles

Do y'all prefer the ring or the gasket with the bolt holes in it? I would like to get the best gasket I can get so I dont have to keep replacing them. I had the ring on it and it seemed like it just melted

It's been 4 weeks since my wreck where I broke my collarbone And it was healing fine and feeling great. Well out of nowhere I would get these really really sharp burning pains right where I broke my bone. This started about 5 or 6 days ago. So last night I went back to the emergency room and they did another X-ray. Well I was gonna post a pic of the X-ray but I can't find the button. But anyways, now that my collarbone is in 2 pieces they are overlapping and laying on top of each other which is fine BUT there a bone fragment (like a broken piece of bone) that is sticking straight up that is very sharp and it's poking my skin. The Dr said everytime I feel that sharp burning pain that's the sharp edge of the fragment ripping my skin from the inside so now they're gonna have to go in and take that piece of bone out..... How do I post pics. I don't see the insert image button anymore
