A stock battery is a bad battery. It sounds like your rectifier is not upgraded or wiring/ground issues. And a cigarette lighter does draw amps. Back to the battery thing......how much do you smoke. Oh , kick starts are aweak link. Is it a full size after marnket battery? You know, fill the whole battery well?

I've bought parts from scrappys, I like them. I will buy more. I feel they are reliable. I do have a question, are the pictures of the 59 and 79 dollar carbs reversed? I got the 59 dollar one,20mm and its quality. I will buy from scrappys again.

With an unrestricted air flow in you will need a big main jet,my keihin with 85 jet and free flow intake ran for a day, also. Put an intake on that is relative to the exhaust system. You can only flow a certain amount of air/fuel through a 18/19mm hole. Watch the ytube faq on carb tuning on the left of this screen and it will set you on a sound course.

Little end first, if you remove air box restrictions you can order jet from parts for scooters. They are awesome. The small jets for cvk. Watch project tao tao on the ytube channel at left of screen.

Well, here is my 2 cents....hemostats,reverse drill bits, and easy outs are a must have for your tool kits. Oh and those magnetic tip things for getting lost screwsand metric taps and good metric screws. But first 49cc forum.

I ride to work five or six nights a week. I cook, so I dress in black , its kinda crazy at 1 or 2 am . At that time the cops are rushing to the bar areas, I'm leaving amongst the the party kids. It makes one appreciate life that day.

If all else fails, remove brakes, go to confession, and let the chips fall where they may.
