Im really glad i didnt buy anything from scrappy, i almost did.
I get that there were some family issues, rickman specifically says that he was out dec and jan for them. But the thing is, scrappy fell apart before then.
When i bought my scooter i reseached parts suppliers, scrappy was a top company. But Before december i had come to the conclusion not to trust scrappy (even though they had a good rep for several years before.
Rickman may genuinely have not noticed his business fell apart before he left. But it did.

I wonder what date that craigslist ad was posted. I bet they have been bought out by someone and thy are either not competent, they are dishonest, or they are just making beginner mistakes and they will make it right. the last one I hope. when someone orders a 180 dollar part and you ship a 60 dollar part, it has to be one of the three. Down at the bottom of the page it says "posted 14 hrs ago". So unless its an archived page of some sort its a recent posting. Its crazy though. With the rep they used to have, they should be able to handle a move.

I worked on my wifes scooter.
1. I replaced the instrument cluster light bulb that burned out 2. I flushed the front brake. 3. I flushed the front forks with atf+4. Im letting it drain over night. 4. I lubed the rear brake and throttle cables. Went much better this time, i used the newer motion pro lube tool. Worked much better. 5. I finished removing the adhesive from the toatao emblem that was on the side panels.

Ilke 90 saod, usually theyre specificn but most have an other vehicles section.
I would start with what type of van it is. It may (or mostlikely does) share a driveline (or major components) with a popular vehichle which may have more online support than the van itself.

So here am I thinking MMO was just for air tools & compressors. I'd be a little leery of using it mixed in with motor oil. Greg There is a specific mmo for air tools. But regular mmo is common for that too. Its used for alot of things. Expecially loved by crusty old mechanics.

That may be your problem with the running rough. Its hard to say though, with such small volumes of fuel it wont take much additive to be too much.
Pouring down the spark plug hole is used for unsticking rings. Its a last ditch effort to avoid a tear down. Sticking rings (wether from carbon or gunk) can cause burning oil or compression problems. The mmo may unstick it if thats the case, i wouldnt do it unless i believed the rings were stuck. And with a scooter i would probably opt for removing the jug and cleaning/replacing the rings.

No problem. I like mmo (i use it for alot of different things) so i get kinda excited in a nerdy way when people talk about it. I also put a lil in fuel wich is how i came to see i could use it in oil as that crap came out like tar ... So hopeing its just doing tge goid work cause its surely done ...lol How much did you put in the gas? Ratio Is .4 oz per gal. I only ask because you said its running funny.

I love mmo, i use it regularly in gas. I wouldnt regulalrly put it in oil. Ive done it to clean noisy hydraulic lifters, and ive even unstuck rings with it, but i wouldnt do it just because.
Anyway, iirc mmo suggests to replace up to 25% of your oil with mmo (i certainly woukdnt do this regularly).
To check.
80% of a quart(32 oz) is 25.6 oz. You used (a little less than) one oz in 25.6oz, which is like 3.9 percent. (25.6x.039=.9984 oz). You used 3.9 percent mmo in the oil, which is way lower than (15.6% of) the max reccomended 25%
You used way less than the maximum amount. I doubt that would cause runnin issues by itself.
Edited to clean up and make more coherent.

It would be cool if there were local group rides. But in reality, if there was a scene, i probably wouldnt be a part of it.

It was 50 degrees out. And i wanted to test ride my scooter after working on it. My wife went with me on hers. We went a little longer than i had planned. She got cold after 50 chinameters and went home. So i went and got some scoottag pics and went home myself.
I put her scoot in the heated garage so i can work on it. The light bulb in her instrument cluster burned out. So ill change that. While im in there im gonna lube the cables and flush the rest of the china fluids from the brakes and the front struts.

Heres the psychic shop. I actually didnt think it was still open, i havent seen anyone there ever in more than 10 years. Its a weird place, a nice big 3 story house without steps leading up to the front door (its like a 3 ft step up), no real parking lot, no lighting on the outside and a deck on the side thats only half built with just a frame and no floor or rails or steps. Its been like this for more than 10 years. I was suprised to see christmas bows on the wondows and a good amount of surveillence equipment. Not much on the internet really about the place, a couple of profiles on websites for that sort of thing, it has a fb page with 3 likes though. i wish i got pics of how weird the building is, I was freaked though, seeing the cameras and expecially with the previous posters story. I got the pic and left quick. Next up is your scoot with the local store you buy parts at. This is advance auto, its convenient to my house, so its where ive gone to get bolts, vacuum caps, and crush washers for my brake hose. All my real parts ive bought online.

That fire extinguisher dry chemical powder is corrosive. Sometimes I think it does more damage than the fire. I worked on an online banking problem, my kitchen sink dispose-all situation, and my compressor. I ordered some square files from Travers Tool. www.travers.com/Check them out if you need tools or tooling for machine tools. I got a metal bending 8" wide die set for use in a vise or hydraulic press from KAKA industrial through Amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015U7JK0I/It was hell to get it here. Their 'shipping' box was totally inadequate for truck shipment. The first one shredded the box and was 'lost' somewhere. The replacement made it here with the same type box but FedEx had to tape up the shredded box enroute, maybe even twice. I told KAKA what was wrong with their packaging and why. I hope they do better in the future. That is an awesome doohickey for a sheet metal brake. Fun side note, my sheetmetal instructor always called them "finger-break".
