And what is a good ignition setup for the 05 Piaggio with lighting coil/power output? I've found a bunch of racing ignition that have no output, but I want lights on this build but also want an ignition curve and need high RPMs on this build! I run a chargless ignition Malossi team2 digital has 7 maps can ajusts timing up to 10° either way and soft rev limiter, just run a chargeable lithium battery run lightsboff that easy to set up

Checking with Maxi to see if I can swap over to this: www.maxiscoot.com/en/product/exhaust-2fast-98cc-piaggio-nrg-zip-67907?vctype_id=13Before they ship out. Never really crossed my mind the detriment of running an exhaust designed for a smaller cylinder like that. I wanted to stick with S6 products but 2 Fast makes really similar stuff, and haven't forbid I detonate this S6 kit I'll be replacing it with a 2 fast cylinder In my opinion the 2fast parts are better than stage6 go all out rc-one cases and 100cc anything lol

A 2fast 86cc pipe would work very well

I actually wondered about the exhaust because there aren't many options for over 70cc. I have a guy that does exhausts and could have the stinger cut off and put in an end bleed bolt to relieve some constant pressure & have a sidebleed stinger installed If you can get one a 2fast 86cc pipe would work well

New to scooters and new to the forum. I've been on a recent moped building kick, and my recent project is putting a stage6 R/T 70cc LC kit on a 78 Honda Hobbit. In the process I stumbled across a Stage6 95cc R/T kit that has been discontinued for some time now...so naturally I had to get it! Then I had to find something to put it on... so I just scored an 05 Piaggio Typhoon! I'm waiting on all the parts to land, but I've got in the works: Stage6 R/T 95cc LC Kit Stage6 R1200 Exhaust Stage6 R/T Crank (44mm Stroke 14mm pin) Polini High Speed Evolution Variator Stage6 Intake & Reed Kit Malossi Unrestricted CDI Kit Malossi RC-One Variator Cover My plan here, is if I'm doing a scooter - I'm going to do it right. So if anyone has any pointers or suggestions on these Typhoons I am ready to learn! I'm sure there are well known problem areas and things to look out for so I am all ears, and look forward to sharing the progress as it comes together! With that set up I would be looking at a digital ignition set up eletrice water pump I don't know a lot about the r/t kit and maybe look at a r1400 with that size motor

Yes even moving up to 30mm would be good, I run a 30mm power jet on my aerox 132cc and it works very well, im trying to deside what carb to use, I have been looking at the sc2 but I just can't justify the price and have a 35mm tmx they are a race carb for 125cc and the 38mm tmx is 250cc so im thinking the 35mm with a power jet, the motor comes with a 36mm dellorto if you buy full motor, so im thinking the 35mm with power jet should be more than enough, like to here how if runs with the 30mm

I've read good things about the TMX. But a 35 meant for a race 125 is probably bigger than I want to go, at least for now. easier to tune a small(er) carb, at any rate, for the break-in period. If I'm happy with 28mm I might just be a smart carb (28mm) guinea pig after the PWK. Or do a 33 if I want more. But running a little higher gear ratio than the RC-One, so I'll likely want to keep my low and mid-range optimal. I can go back up to about 11:1, but I need to find 05 gears to work with the 14/42s with the 3rd support I intend to run. Then I'd want more carb, I think. Sorry been a while since really looking at posts, I did try the 35mm tmx and yes to big from what I've read and after ridding once a 32mm would be just right with the vforce 3 reeds your useing, I have a cnc spacer plate that lest me run up to banchee reeds, but ive now got to the lmr 115cc I ended up getting them to race prep a set of new cases for me, something they don't normally. Unless you buy the full race motor. Anyway hope it all worked out for you, im guessing you have been riding for a while buy now, I can ride till Nov so I have till then to finish build only been 2 years lol

Bring plenty of sunscreen or your pale Welsh body will fry like sausage in a pan. Bring shark repellent also. You might also want to wear a chastity belt to keep the locals away You need 1000+ sun screen

I think I could cope with it pete130 as a experiment for science. If you pay my return airfare and I will come and see if my body can acclimatise to the heat over two weeks. Also book me into a hotel for the same amount of time, I'm not fussy 3 star rated hotel will do and won't cost you so much. 🙂 Hay It would be 4 star, 2min walk from the beach lol im spoiled.

OK so I did some work to try to get my stater mounting holes and threads it back in orbecause that's the only thing holding my bike up. But I ran into a problem I'm hoping someone on this forum can help me with long story short one of the stater mounting holes I tapped out to an M7 1.0 However I searched far and wide all across the interweb and wasn't able to find a single place that would sell a counter sunk M7 Bolt!! ...Can't wait to hear what you come up with 🤙
Braddah Joey! nice to see you back, been wondering about you, if you was still alive. never seen you post in a while. anyways, i got a new phone. i know your REXY not so good, but i hope Life's been good for you.
anyways... this is my thoughts...
if the hole is cut to M7, i would try go to the hardware store and look for helicoil insert for a M6 screw. i seen some helicoils at TrueValue Hardware Hawaii. if not, go check out the guy at Aloha Tap and Die in Kalihi, off of Nimitz. the way i see it, if it is the same thread pitch as the previous screw that broke, then a M6 helicoil should work.
So, go to Aloha Tap and Die, and buy a M6 Helicoil kit from him. it comes with the coil size tap, helicoil inserts, and the installation tool. he sells the tap-size drill bits separately. understand this, the tap for an M6 helicoil is larger in diameter than normal tap for M6 hole. i am pretty sure the M6 x 1.0 coil tap is probably close to a M7 x 1.0 tap.
the way i see it, every hole on the casing/block that gets compromised and the treads are damaged, the holes should be fixed with a threaded insert. my reasoning is that in all the large hydraulic actuators i worked on, the body was billet machined aluminum, but all the threaded holes have thread inserts. when i comes to using steel bolts to hold together 3000psi actuators, all threaded holes have steel threaded inserts and steel bolts. in my craft, steel bolts are never directly installed into threaded aluminum holes.
if you need help, hit me up. if you need my number, send me a PM. i got a new phone with reception now.
Yes I have heli coils in my stud holes just to make sure as I run high tensile studs

oldgeek get yourself a nice sedate civilised 4 stroke and you won't end up having to clean all the 2 stroke grunge off it. You may even get a badge for being environmentalist of the year. 😊 I would never have a 2 stroke........um maybe I have but I'm special so I is allowed too. Never say never lmao
