Hello fellow ped heads , I am really stoked o. This build have been planning for a while now the goal is to mate a bottom mount Piaggio style malossi hyper race with the team crank (thanks pitobread) on to one of my rexy (minarelli, top mount) frames. I am going for a slightly cleaner look than my last hyper race and not only will this be my first ever PIAGGIO engine, it is literally the second piaggio two stroke I have ever seen in Hawaii. Let alone the fact that it will be on a rexy frame while retaining some fairings and fabricating the bottom mount plus many other twist turns and hopefully revs this build....
Put a rc-one in, its all piaggio internals.

The Aerox had the most parts available to tune. Loads of cylinders and pipes. A lot of the jog, are air cooled which makes them easier to work on. The R is air cooled, the RR water cooled. Have a look through the Pedparts website. It will give you an idea of what is available. www.pedparts.co.uk/
I've never seen an Aerox for £300. The price can soon add up when fixing them. So it's worth keeping that in mind. Spent loads on my project, and that's a cheap build. Things like tyres and exhausts can cost over £100 so it would be nice to get one that is good there.
I wish my parts only cost €100, I pay that for a contra spring with shipping, but ultra race motors are very expensive lol I see a lot of aerox in UK cheap

OK so I did some work to try to get my stater mounting holes and threads it back in orbecause that's the only thing holding my bike up. But I ran into a problem I'm hoping someone on this forum can help me with long story short one of the stater mounting holes I tapped out to an M7 1.0 However I searched far and wide all across the interweb and wasn't able to find a single place that would sell a counter sunk M7 Bolt!! This is the one thing that's now holding me up simply finding a counter sunk M7 which has proven impossible and I've been searching for a while If anyone can point me in the direction where I could buy this particular bolt I would be eternally grateful and so would my moped, Even if one of you guys has an idea that would allow me to use the current threading in a way that maybe changes the diameter or any other idea at all I would be eternally grateful if 1 of you guys can custom make 1 of these boats for me I would gladly pay whatever price you you think is fair once again my whole engine has been sitting for 6 months And all I need is a specificbolt please guys you guys are great and have helped me along my entire Journey so please point me in the right direction or 2A website that will hold these particular size once again love you guys Can't wait to hear what you come up with 🤙
As said go to m8 won't have a problem with getting bolts, if it's something that needs to be solid I would even think about getting heli coiled

What's the best 2t for tuning, ease of tuning parts in UK or Europe
Seen couple of Aerox and jogs for £300 Honda Vision for between £150 -£225 A nice honda elite 50 for £325 maybe less. Thanks
If you can find a aprillia sr 50cc factory r carb model, or aerox 50cc, there's just as many parts for both, the aprillia's have lower center of gravity, and a data heaver, but feel stabler than the aerox, they handel very well have higher center of gravity, and lighter. I would recamend a lc bike, nothing wrong with air cooled but, but air cooled motors can only be modded to a point were the cooling let's them down, I have a race air cooler motor, only problme is over heating on a hot day.

Thank you aeroxbud and Lucass2T food for thought. Saw this on Facebook bit low price I thought they went for silly money. May well be a scam as been up for a day already.
These bikes go for over $4000 in Australia up to $5000 got a good one with work done to it, it's strange how some bike are cheaper in diffrent countries. I just pass on one and it was $4000.

Alas it is not to be spares appear to be a problem.
Lucass2T from what I read it the rights to build was bought by an Indian company plus tooling appears Europe dipped out of having these and don't see many spares about in the UK. Are you not pleased aeroxbud the addiction is stopped. Just say no like Nancy Reagan taught me all those years ago. Plus a little look from Yolanda and daughter. 😲
There's another scooter that looks the same im trying to find the group on fb but if same there's a lot of parts all the ones I've seen have been modded with excelent pipe and go like stick ill try find it, im probably wrong and getting it all confused lol something diffrent but

Peace Sports 50, Italica Strada 50, or Italica Spektra 50. My last scooter was a Revolution. It was a total POS. Your opinion is appreciated. TY
Sorry ive never hurd of either of theses scooters, in my opinion the aerox 50cc and aprillia sr factory r 50cc piaggio are the 2 best scooters out there, but they may not have been relised in your country

aeroxbud Yes exactly! The aerox stuff gets so hard to find. For the longerst time I was searching for a set of Aerox 100 cases, but in the US -- Good luck my man, and the prices were out of range for overseas. That's how I ended up with the Aprilia cases. Thought I was coming out on top- oh I'll just grab a transmission cover - sure no big deal. It's like Spongebob right? 2 years later...
The 100cc never sold very well here. You could make a 50cc much faster. The 50 is water cooled with a better engine and rear disc brake. Masses of aftermarket parts available for the smaller engine. Not many for the bigger one.
The malossi 124cc kit is a reliable kit won't let you down, there is a few other option but it's the pipe that is the probmle, anything past the malossi 124cc can't buy a pipe, off the shelf. The rs2 works extremely well on the malossi kit.

Waited about 5 years for a 100cc Aerox rear wheel to come up on eBay for sale. They are real unicorns here.
Yes they are, ive only seen 50cc rims for sale, I was thinking of converting my 100cc rear to disk to use the 50cc rim, but I think having the drum is better in a way than disk, my 100cc doesn't lock up any were near as easy as a 50cc will

I would probably be the longest since ridding a bike over 2 years now, only because of loss of lincence, or I would ride every day, but in that time I did a few rebuild Malossi 70cc sports Stage6 race mk2 70cc Polini evo 3 70cc Rc-one 94cc Now lmr 115cc

That kit looks crazy! Didn't know they made em this big. Crazy to think that when I was 16 (20yrs ago, sigh) and just got into scooters and mopeds the market was dominated by 70cc kits. Those were the biggest you could buy apart from a long stroke version of the Italkit/Gilardoni or Athena kit. What kinda power do you expect from this kit when it's fully dialed in?
Well out of the box, the kit produces 42hp at back wheel revs to 15k, ive seen videos of the first dyno test 42hp broke the motor mount on a geared race bike, think it was running a 36mm carb maybe even a 34mm, but to even get the crank Into rc-one cases need to be inlagred by 5mm to take the stroker crank its running a 50mm stroke and 54mm piston the lmr brand vforse 4 reeds built into there spacer is so big I have to get intake in cases inlarged as well, reeds are about the size of 350cc banchee reeds 35mm intake so im planing to run a tmx 35mm mukini with power jet, ill be happy with 40 at back wheel can't see getting less than that. I won't need it to have full race tune, will run a tad rich for insurance, won't be a daily thats for sure.
