i certainly hope so after all the crap i've listened to out of the misses. but damn does it look good. looks 10x better in person than the pics do, all though in the pics the paint looks brown but its actually a metallic maroon. now on to the engine when the bank account gets built back up. i think i'm gonna go with a 90cc plus bbk should be around 105-110cc i think. that should be a big enough engine to carry my big azz up the track.

well i'm not sure whats gonna be on it when i get it but i've been looking at the 90cc at partsforscooters. i didn't think it was priced to bad. my rallys got roughly 13.5:1 and it launches pretty good with stock jug and leo pipe. i can't wait to get the polini installed and see how its gonna do. i'm waiting on new needle bearings before i go any farther with it. got the rest of it ready, 0.010" ring end gaps and chamfered the ports already. just itching to put it on before the weather gets to bad to ride, suppose to rain here most of the week. i don't think it will matter rain or shine, i'm gonna ride when i get it installed.

I assumed you were going to just match the red on the rims but you went the whole 9 and painted them too. I like the "depth" to the finish. Nice job!
Just do like I do and let moma buy a new pan or expensive knife or something and THEN order your new parts. Hard for her to complain while she's opening HER UPS package. ;D

well wt, the plan was to just match up to the red paint that was already on the rims. but when i was at the paint store, rim in hand to match, i seen that metallic maroon and couldn't resist. like me and 2strokd already said, the pics do the paint no justice. it truly is a BEAUTIFUL color. and its funny you mention the misses and pans, she just recently bought a new set of pots & pans. so i ordered me a new analog koso tach/temp meter from SIP. waiting on it rather impatiently. i hate waiting on parts deliveries, patience is not one of my strong points. i've got a ton of patience when i'm actually working on something but other than that i have NONE!!!

please forgive my ignorance but i opened the gear case on my drag scoot motor and snapped these pics, but i'm not sure which gears the primary or secondary. the smaller of the two gears on the left has a smaller gear on the backside of it that locks into the bigger one. the smaller one has a tooth count of 13backside/52front and the bigger gear has 19internal/44external teeth on it. i'm not sure what kinda gear ratio that is but they both look new almost.

ok well i recounted and i've got 13/52 primary and 13/44 secondary gears. i'm not sure 100% about this #, but i done some research and i think it works out to a 10.5:1 final gear ratio. btw, thanks for the clarification on that brent.

Your gearset overall ratio works out to be(52/13 * 44/13) = 13.54 not 10.5.
