Fyi, Emerson makes a sports action cam similar to the go pro for around $40 w/accessories and mounting brackets. I've got one and their pretty tough. Anything electronical that can survive me 6 months is durable IMO.

Since your intention is to use it as a cam, try to find a mount with any sort of vibration damping. Even if it's rubber lined/coated mounts it should help. Handlebar mounting for a cam is one of the worst spots I've used. If you could find some sort of suction cup or double sided tape secured mount for the front plastic bit, that may knock out some of the vibration for you. HERE is an Emerson Action Cam like Clank mentioned.

Hah, Walmart reviews shows it breaks and you can't watch video other than in camera. Walmart... I'm not going to ask.

I've used it on my Cannondale, scooter, and hardhat connecting structural steel. It's survived a couple of downhill bails/crashes. I had a go pro but I actually like the sound & picture quality of the Emerson more. That and if I do brake it (which surprisingly I haven't yet) I'm only out $40 vs. $300 for a name brand go pro. And the camera it's really really small so you can strap it to your body (I mount it sometimes to a small hydration pack) and most people (especially the bad boys in blue) don't even notice it. I think maybe the Russians are on to something....

Might have a better chance at Best Buy. I found mine at Walgreens in the camera department.

You should have seen me trying to smoke a cig on my first scoot ride. I thought I was going to die before I even got on the main road!

Every little bit helps. Also keep yourself well informed. This place has a wealth of knowledge. Not just from 90GTVert posts, but also from the users as well. I'm gathering my parts as we speak and will be going one piece at a time. So far I haven't been lead wrong. I've even managed to find someone near me that has already helped me tremendously!
