drive.google.com/folderview?id=0By2rcNqfITkKWEVJSm9fVmQ2RXM&usp=sharingAlso here's some shots of the new exhaust and the old one. I kind of miss the stump pulling the zx-r had and might look for a yasuni or something in the future. I'll have to see what the turbo likes more and base the exhaust I use on that. It finally shipped this week so any day now I should be seeing that. I'm thinking its going to love the stage6 pipe though. I launch after 8k so it should launch into boost but maybe the flatter and wider curve of the yasuni would respond even better to it. I guess ill have to wait and find out what that does if it does anything for me.

Looks good! I noticed the ZXR had better low-end than the Technigas RSII I had. I was able to do wheelies on a prebug with the ZXR and still have a hit but the Technigas lost a lot of low end power..

Thanks for the replies. And it seems like for the most part its top end or bottom end for cylinders and exhaust. Not too many that do it all in my price range. I'm sure that hpc crank is going to help though. My cylinder states you need one and you can feel it wants one. I doubt its going to pull a stump after it but it should be more forgiving with my cvt tunes. Come on scootertuning.ca I'm ready to put this thing together.

They must have heard me lol. Crank is in the mail finally and on its way to me. Once it arrives I can put it into the new case I have and see what a ported case with a hpc crank can do. Its rated for around 15k rpms and as much as I hate to admit it I pieced together a screamer so if it makes good power compared to now I should be set until the fuel injection is purchased and installed. Then the fun can begin.

Ugh this threw has more than lived up to its name but finally, Finally all my parts will be here tomorrow. Crank should arrive before I get home and a not so shiny piston arrived compliments of Gary from gforce powersports. Its another 50cc piston with the 12mm pin and the wrist pin sits about 5mm lower to more than compensate for the 80mm conrod instead of the 85mm the kit likes. No more odd port timings and compression will be bumped up alot higher than it is now. I'm thinking about running that metal head gasket during break in based on what my squish ends up being so ill know I can for sure run pump gas. As of now I can get away with 87 octane but always run 89 cause it runs a few degrees cooler that way. Keep your eyes peeled because by Friday I plan on having this thing in my bike and tearing up the road.

Well once again something wasnt quite right. The flywheel side is the right size but the variator is too small for the splines for it. But this time I'm not that upset. I'll just get a new variator after I get paid and slowly accumulate some parts for the stock engine since I know what to order for it for the most part. I'm going to use the stage6 crank in that case and use the Doppler with a smaller taper flywheel in this case that I wanted to use months ago. I'll use the motor I've been piecing together to test boost and if it holds up the case with the stronger stage6 crank will be the long term use engine with the turbo and the doppler will be the back up. That way the case that needs to be sturdier will be and ported for the cylinder I'm going to use instead of a case ported for a malossi mhr cylinder. I'll feel alot safer having a large spline variator when the boost if it makes any kicks in.

drive.google.com/folderview?id=0By2rcNqfITkKemRGLW5IRXFUMzg&usp=sharingWell after yet again living up to the name of the thread. At long last she runs. I used the stage6 12mm hpc crank a larger variator but another malossi over range from Gforcemx they were doing 100 bux brand new on them for a sale at that price I should have bought two lol. I broke it in using the zx-r exhaust by you could tell that was holding it back. The cylinder with the proper piston to use with an 80mm con rod vs the 85mm con rod the stock piston is designed for makes a big difference. Compression wise its higher and still runs well on pump gas. 89 octane somehow temps are around 370 max tonite giving it hell. 10,500 rpms up to most speeds since I've had some miles on it for break in already. I'm debating on ditching my gears for now and using the stock ones though. I bet it would actually go faster and accelerate like crazy. Find and order a set of secondary gears and try to get my ratio at maybe 11.5-12:1 instead of 10:1 its just too low staying at 50cc. I thought it might do it and it may be able to pull them in perfect conditions but its rarely been perfect weather lately and I don't have a front end still so the wind has been my biggest enemy. Now that I can safely go well beyond 10k which was 60 with the stock gears 12k might be around 70 which would still be more than enough for me.

If anybody needs machining or pressing done in the Tampa fl area look up anchor machining on the corner of 7th and 39th street they are good people and work with their customers unlike corporate businesses. Do you know a good shop in clearwater/st pete? I don't cross the bridge.

Tropical scooters. They've been so good to me every time I dealt with then and way less than I can say for anybody else in my area. Parts for scooters is in largo fl somewhere so you may be able to walk in and buy inventory instead of order and get it the next day. I used to go to mad beach or mad dog scooters but they mistreated me too many times and when the owner started a screaming match with me because he said he had a part and I drove there he didn't have it. I decided somebody else has to want my money they clearly don't want it.

Partsforscooters has done well by me. If they aren't setup for retail or pick ups that's their business. They ship the same day and I get parts in one to two days. There are others who are much much worse.

Yeah there really is alot worse. My only problem with them is their bone stock parts. Rather than the one off parts my bike has lol. It would be so nice just getting everything I need in a day rather than have to order from someone farther away. I still really like Gforcemx when I order now though. Gary has been soooo good to me and his wife is great too. I call to order every time just to talk to them for a minute. Plus I wouldn't have this engine on the road I it wasn't for them.

Ok update I can't deal with the 50cc high performance finickiness anymore and my boss man finally convinced me to just get a bigger bore again and I ordered a stage6 70 mkii to match my pro rep exhaust I hope. I was going to get the streetrace since it was cheaper but I kept looking at dynos and the mkii makes way more low end grunt which would solve alot of the pro rep exhausts downfalls. It would maybe make a smooth flow of power then when the pipe kicks in work some magic and let me use my 10:1 gears properly. I switched back to the stock gears and it runs even slower now and that made me finally wash my hands with these 50cc builds. I'm running slower speeds than stock after putting my stock gears in. I could do 53-55 on the Speedo bone stock and its acting like its struggling for 50 even though 58 was a normal cruising speed with the 10:1 gear kit. Any ideas as to why it doesn't want to pull the stock gears either? It makes great power and the plug was darker than I normally tune for so I leaned it back a hair. It ran better but still fell on its face at 48. I can squeeze 50 out of it after a while but that's about it. Rpms stay the same up until it stops accelerating. I'm almost thinking my torque converter is starting to adjust then but its not dropping below my powerband or anything. It would actually drop into the big part of my powerband if it was adjusting. I'm accelerating around 11,500-11,800 rpms right now and 10,500-11,600 is the sweet spot. I'm thinking about trying different contra springs to see if maybe this ones too stiff.
