Well I figured some of the issue out. The torque driver I bought a little while back uses gy6 springs and apparently those are way stiffer than minarelli springs. I've got a few complaints about this torque driver but since my stock one is about shot in going to have to deal with it. I do like the adjustable clutch springs though. It makes it so nice setting your take off instead of having to lose out with just springs and contra along with rollers. Too many times I've had the cvt dialed in perfect but can't take off due to powerband being too far away from idle. My 70 kit should be here tomorrow and the boss man said he's going to take a look at it so hopefully he doesn't go too overboard with it. I'm excited to finally pull these 10:1 gears when I slap them back in and get the top end broken in.

I went ahead and put the gears in. I may just put the top end in after work tomorrow so I wanted to get it out if the way. I hit 56-57 again when it wasn't crazy windy so at least that's fairly normal. The torque driver still isn't opening all the way which is mostly because of the 3.5g rollers that are in the variator. Being able to use atleast 5g weights after the cylinder swap will help alot I'm sure. The quality of the cylinder is better than my malossi products at a glance ill say that. Don't get me wrong malossi looks and makes a good product but the finish on everything on this seems better. The materials seem to feel a little more solid too. I know you can't judge modern metals by feel since alloys can gain so many attributes with very little or no side effect. But it doesn't feel fragile in the least bit for those wondering.

Well I didn't bother with pictures because I had a narrow window of time to get it put on and running then tuned and back to work. I'm almost wishing I went for the step down from this cylinder lol. Its a monster on the low end and top end it just keeps pulling. I put a ton of miles on it and have it well broken in but I'm not going to get rid of the de tune for another day or two. An 80 jet with lean needle is a bit lean and an 85 with the same needle is a hair much so I'm going to try the rich needle I have with the 80 main jet. That's about in the middle of the spectrum in most cases but some of my cylinders despised that needle and wouldn't work at all with it. Temps are pretty good and torque is more than triple the malossi mhr with the same exhaust. I decided to not clean up the ports and wanted to see the difference. I'm going to replace the top end bearing soon and will clean them then and see if I have any case matching to do but it looked really close already. If it makes a big difference I may just go back to a restricted tune for now and when I get more used to the bike let it rip. The weather is getting warmer here finally so ill try and get a video of it in the near future.

What MKII cylinder are you running? scootertuning.ca/en/cylinders/67003-cylinder-stage6-sport-pro-mkii-70cc-cpi-vento-12mm.htmlThis is the cylinder. So far I've seen 64 out of it but average it likes 60-62 running rich and heavier weights than I like. Tomorrow I'm going to try and change a tire and switch the front tire again. If all goes well with that I'm going to try to dial the carb in and figure out what weights it likes the most. I finally found plastics for my bike so when they get here its going to help a ton on top speed.
