Added new, better pics for the blue version. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/post/226251I don't know really. More and more I look at it, more and more I feel that red looked better. Still blue is so new and bling, bling shiny. I always liked plain design also for cars. As few or no stickers as possible. And I think the main reason for it is I have absolutely no sense for it. I don't know how, where and what stickers to put on. Putting Stage 6 stickers on a scooter that has no Stage6 parts in it makes no sense to me unless you would count the pull choke which is from Stage6.

Im partial to the red too! Especially because i know how much hard work you put into making that paint look great! It looks like a professional paint job.

The blue is nice but I'd have to agree with Lucas on the stickers. Of course I'm a sticker whore... But I never looked at the red and thought it needed stickers. Maybe I just got used to liking the red so much? Not sure.
Anyway, the blue looks real nice.

Any idea where to get large race-like decals/stickers? I don't mean the popular Stage6, Polini or Malossi kinda stickers more like spaz12s avatar has.

You can supply them with your own design. Otherwise dirtbike shops have lot's of different number stickers or MX related brand stickers.

I really like the blue. You did great work on the red, and that's generally my favorite besides black, but I dig the blue on your scoot. Hi guys
I am new to this form and to scooters for that matter. I bought a nice little used 2006 Job. Here is Australia it is a CV50V or 5SU9. I have read up on everything the same he Newzealand scooting forum as they share the same model platform. I have also read everything on the Australian scooter forum in regards to this model. I hav had it less that a week and have already ordered. 2x Pirelli SL26 tyres(locally), front brake pads, posh CDI, performance air filter for stock air box, NGK iridium plug and a set of main jets for the stock carb (all from weblike Japan). It is hard to work out what parts fit this model as there seem to be so many variations over the year around the world. I did email scooting Newzealand and they said it is the same as a SA16j or remocon jog. My scooter also has the pollution pipe work mentioned on page 26 of this thread. Let me say this thread is full of great information and advise I read the whole lot in the last 3 hours. Can the pollution piping be removed completely or do I need to block of some of it. I will be doing the basic derestriction (Cdi exhaust) also improve air intake with bette filter and maybe snorkel remove. Then try and tune with higher main jet. Any help advise encouragement would be appreciated. I would also like to know if anyone has a copy of the service manual for this model.

06jog First off, You came to the right forum when it comes to Scooters. Hats off for reading through my 37 pages long thread here and sorry for all the off topic stuff in between. Australia and New Zealand are the only countries I know that have the CV50 Jog series besides Japan. I see you got already some nice parts from webike. You have a CV50 Jog 5SU9 I think in Japan we had from 5SU1-5SU8 models and then there are the older ones the 5KN1-5KN4 series. Yeah, kinda hard sometimes to figure out which parts fit and which not. I own a CV50R 5SU1 and a CV50R 5KN1. The R after the CV50 stands for Remote or リモコン aka. リモコンジョグ (Remote Jog) in Japanese which means that I can unlock my Scooter or open the seat via remote kinda like a car. I can take a video once if you like to see it. But besides that remote the Jogs look same. Regarding that pollution stuff, to be honest I never worked on one I always tried to stay away from them. Those where the last Jogs before they stopped production on 2 stroke scooters here. I think you should be able to remove that hose and plug the holes but what after-effect that has I have no idea. I will go to my local bike shop and take a look at one of those Jogs and collect more info. Regarding tuning, do you have a Big Bore Kit installed? Putting larger Jets into a stock carb and add more air won't make your scoot run really fast(er). But it is a good start to get to know your Scooter better that way. I did the same, at first I tried to get the best performance out of it with the stock 50cc cylinder and then later upgraded to a mild 70cc sport cylinder to get faster uphill. You can purchase parts also in other countries and shops besides webike. I never ordered there but I can recommend racing planet. Raizer can confirm, they got cheap shipping to New Zealand and Japan and probably to Australia too. Of course there are many other shops too. Ju8st ask if you need more info or links. When I browse a shop I mostly choose older Jog as Scooter or you can almost use anything that fits on a Minarelli type engine. Just be careful with some certain products like the clutch or better say clutch size 105mm or 107mm? Overrange variators also won't fit. Also the intakes and reed blocks are different. Otherwise you are welcome to ask here in this thread or in the forum anytime you are unsure. We are glad to help you out. Service Manual? Man I wish I had one. If you can find one in English please share. I have found older Jog Manuals but they don't cover all. I can find Japanese ones but they are expensive and in Japanese. Thanks for the reply. I am picking up more information all the time. No BBK just yet. I want to see what I can get out of the stock set up with a few basic mods. I think the way you have done it is th best , 1 step at a time. The next thing on the list would be variator weights, change belt if needed and some various clutch and contra springs to play with. Just to see if I can make use of the little extra rpm I get from the cdi, filter, jets and pipe derestriction. After that I will get new shocks front and back to get better handling. I may get a tachometer now just for tuning and curiosity to see what the changes do. It would be something I would not leave on so inductive pick up, battery powered. Service manual is $75 on CD. I only really need it for torque settings and just in case I have parts left over after putting thing on and off. The off topic stuff help break up the read and was still very interesting.
Thanks again for all the time you took to write you set up trials and errors it is priceless information for new starters like me. I don't have a big budget to work with and buying th bright parts the first time is very important.
I paid $650 for the scooter which has 8900km on it and I don't really want to spend $2,000 on performance parts

Service Manual and Scooter prices would be the same here. I also had/have not much budget for tuning and I have a very difficult house president (wife). But look where I ended up, custom paint, BBK, carb, CVT, V8 pipe, big reed block, another mid-race cylinder thanks to spaz12 and soon hopefully a very nice pipe like Yasuni R or something similar. Even got me a second Jog which I use for rainy days only. I tell you 2T tuning is a sickness with high possibility of getting addicted.

It's so weird how they are so addicting and I could think of so many other things to spend money on, yet I keep at it. Maybe because you get a lot more smiles per dollar spent on a scooter compared to a car.
