Okay.. I have run into some issues with this guy I hired for the job, well, not him but the scooter, the job. We installed the big bore kit, but there is a problem where it starts up fine but when I let go of the brake, it wants to just take off and go without even touching the gas. Anyone know whats going on here?
Also the bigbore kit came with new rollers and whatever its called that the rollers go in and what looks to me like a plastic sprocket? And some triangular looking thing. All of these were not installed yet because he did not have an impact wrench. I think thats what it is called..
Hes coming back today or tomorrow to fix his mistakes but at this point we both dont understand what can be wrong. It was a long day yesterday, started at 1030AM and didnt give up until 2AM. What took the longest was trying to rewire the new speedometer, which he couldnt figure out. I have more to add here but one thing at a time and I dont wanna confuse anyone here who reads this.
Hope you guys can help!

Did he mess with the carb? If so, are the slide and diaphragm installed properly? Did he turn the idle speed screw in? Is the throttle working and returning to idle?
If the throttle and carb check out, maybe there's a bad vacuum leak.

We did mess with the idle but not enough to figure out if that was the problem.
I just read this, I think this is what you might mean: (check and see if there is a spring and a very small black cylinder popping out of the top of your carb. If that is not happening, then take off your carb, and make sure the black piston is not backwards. (The small groove on the small black cylinder goes on the idle screw side, the long groove goes on the opposite side.)
What is happening is your bike is in full throttle.
I just copy and pasted the above from somewhere online...
Anyways, I just got a call from the guy I hired and he should be here in about 2hrs and hes thinking my clutch may needed to be upgraded because of the new bbk... What do you think about that?

BTW.. The scooter idles fine when I start it, but if I let go of the brake, it wants to take off, without me even touching the throttle. Sorry I just mean to say it idles fine, I dont mean to repeat myself, I just want to make this as clear as I can. I also dont want this guy showing up today telling me I need a new clutch if I dont and expect to be paid leaving me screwed.

I would concentrate on getting it to run properly first.

I think one of the gas lines possibly needs to be attached to the black nub in which I covered as shown... I possibly have the line on the wrong side. Please let me know, thanks!

looks fine from here. On your carb, on the side where the cable is attached, there is a screw to adjust the idle.Turning it will move the round kizmo that's attached to the cable. Unscrew it until the round gizmo moves no more.

We did that, the scooter is still at full throttle without reving the engine.

Is the round kizmo set like in the picture or is the hole to attach the cable more downward?
