Btw I used a cop from a newer jeep. Two connections. Hooks right up and runs. Engine has 14000 miles on this build.

i did a writeup on this some years ago too and have been running it ever since. its not even that the stock car coils will damage anything their just better now. shorter wire faster response the coil charges better. and you have less chance of the spark blowing out. but it doesnt use more power just uses the power its given more efficiently. i have had zero issue with mine in all the time ive had it cleaner combustion nice plug color and no fouling plugs. when i worked at a repair shop i had a pile of these coils for free and still bought a new one just cause id never worry about it again. car parts are usually 100k+ mile parts. your scooter was designed to have the motor replaced by 5000 miles or the whole scoot.
