Picked up the slides for the Hoca variator today!! 9$ at the shop, rode to work and on lunch I put my stock cdi back in so I wasn't at 8-9000 rpms at 30-35mph. Max rpm my tach recorded was 17k this morning. Way too high lmfao, niz76 I'll share some rpms with ya!!!!! Tomorrow I'll change variators and make my rollers heavier too!!! I'll take them! I gained a little more RPM's by leaning out my tune- up to 8k now....

My scoots broke down with no spark right now, gotta be my kill switch because I went to shut it off and it didn't kill the engine. Then I went to start it a bit later and it wouldn't spark!

Alright, I've got my spark situation figured out. Now I have one other problem, one of the wire for the stator came off the contact point for the cool, after I solder it back together, what kind of adhesive should I put on top of that?

What,Where?Didnt get that post,,If you soldered a connection together and want to insulate it,clear silicone works well,if its needing some stiff support, clear 5 minute epoxy is the ticket..Hope this helps if that is what you are asking...

Ok she's a runner , it ended up being the ignition coil wire kept coming unplugged so I tightened it and cruised around town for about an hour!

Well my scooter "broke down" at the park while drinking with a friend, left it there for a couple days and then remembered that I was supposed to get gas on my way to the park. So I got gas in it, it wanted to start and would start for a split second but not any longer. I got it home, it's got spark, 130 compression, fuel pumping through the carb, I just cleaned my open air filter because it was pretty dirty and I need to do a carb cleaning job again than I think she'll run great!!

Alright, so I solved my "bog or sputter" issue, after riding it yesterday tuning the carb a bit better I paid attention to the bog/sputter-like sound. It sounded more like the plug was misfiring, after swapping plugs it still did it so I swapped back to my stock cdi and the misfiring stopped. Back to a quick scoot!!
Although, last week my lights stopped working out of nowhere. Not sure what's wrong there :/

Well, I had a fun day riding my scooter around! Got onto a 45mph speed limit road and gunned it after cruising around for a while, my top speed was 59.5mph gps'd with a light wild wind and about half tucked. I am getting my Christmas bonus tomorrow, and I would love to upgrade my pipe or my carb, I'd like to spend only about 100$, so I think I'll go with the carb, I'll have to shop around and find one I won't have to do much modifications to slap it on and run!
also I need to get heavier sliders to match up with my new springs in the clutch. There's more to this engine as my top rpm was around 7500 and I have seen higher in my old cvt setup!

I'd say throw a signature in your profile... Tecnigas next r is for 90cc and only a hundred bucks. But once you get one your just gonna want something with more horsepower anyway. Like a C30. If your hitting 59 with a stock pipe anyway.... Anything you do with your money will be an improvement.

With a small exhaust leak from the bolts being loose, that gave me more speed, once I tightened them I lost some power :/ that's why I'm thinking a pipe would be the direction to go, then a bigger carb E/ the cheapest next r I saw on google search was 128+shipping, niz76 was talking about upgrading his pipe sometime in the future, and he said he would sell me his next r for 100$. So if I wait I could get his pipe if he ever upgrades his, I'll play it day by day for now, whenever I feel like forking out 150$ for a pipe I guess I'll have to haha
